Happy Thursday, all.

After being gone for a bit (away in America visiting family) I'm ready to get planning again. Feb has been a very tight month, so here we go:

24/2 - Butternut squash soup, will batch cook for freezer and eat tonight
25/2 - (Quorn) Chicken and Brocolli Pasta Bake - new for me and looks scrummy: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1948/chicken-and-broccoli-pasta-bake
26/2 - Spicy Tomato Baked Eggs - looks like one of my favorite dishes I used to eat in Israel but have never made, Im really excited about this! http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/7573/spicy-tomato-baked-eggs
27/2 - veggie chili from freezer with rice
28/2 - L/o butternut squash soup
1/3 - leftovers from week, making pizza dough for next day
2/3 - Dad coming over from America, so pizza night in

Looking forward to seeing what you all are eating!

Lunches are leftovers, breakfasts are granola or toast.

Hi Nottoobadyet and all that follow...

Did an inventory of my freezer last night so I could complete my rough monthly meal plan in preparation for shopping...found quite a few things I didn't know I had!

So, this week we are having:

Thurs: If DH is going out tonight then he will have omlette and I will have fried eggs and potatoes; if he's staying in then I will do HM Paella when I get back from my meeting.
Fri: Lemon Pepper Chicken, Rice & Veggies
Sat: Gammon, wedges, Pineapple and veggies
    Sun: Eat at DH's parents
Mon: HM Chilli, Wraps & Salad (Chilli in freezer)
    Tues: Fish of some description
Wed: A Jamie 30 Minute Meal - not decided which one yet, but leaning towards one with Pork Chops

Desperately need to make some soup on Sunday - have lots of bits and pieces in the freezer to make at least 3 types, but haven't got round to it yet- not buying tinned and really missing my soup lunches.

    Have a good week all.

  • Well I spent most of yesterday doing an inventory of my freezer and many food cupboards, and then posted the results on my diary on here. In fact I've managed to meal plan til the 18th March, and I'll only need milk, cheese, fruit & veg and maybe a few tins of baked beans til then. I didn't realise I had so much food :o.

So here goes next weeks menu:

Mon: Sea bass/fish fingers, chips & peas
    Tues: Fry-up
Weds: Lamb cutlets, potatoes (roast or mash), veg & gravy
Thurs: Jacket potatoes, cheese & beans/tuna mayo & salad
Fri: Sweet & sour chicken balls, egg fried rice, mini spring rolls
Sat: Beef stew, mash, green veg
Sun: Lamb shanks, roast potatoes, veg & gravy

Have made a tea bread, and just finished baking 40 twinks, so hopefully they'll last til next week :rotfl:

What on earth are 'twinks'? I have just heard about them on another forum. Does anyone have the recipe? Cheers!
