I can't belive I've come in at under £100 for March - weird!
Only one more day to go and lets see if I go wild and spend £53.21 all at once!
Might reduce the budget down to £120 for April, not sure yet will decide on Monday:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Hi everyone,
Not a bad week GC wise, I have only bought what was needed. Today I got a few bits in the local shops, rather than going to the supermarket which I was pleased about as it saved on fuel costs as it is only a very short walk, and its good to support the local shops. Last night I spent the evening doing a meal plan for next month, going to use up as much as possible out of the freezers so that I can defrost them, also got a fair few new recipes to try. We seem to be eating a lot more vegetarian meals, rather than meat based ones at the moment, which is good for both pocket and waistline, both me and OH have lost weight - so can't be bad.
I am going to try to bring my annual budget back in line next month, so would like to not go over the £850 mark.

I went to Te$co yesterday for the Palmo**ve liquid hand soap that was on offer (bogof and priced at £1 each) so 50 pence per bottle instead of the usual £1.60 odd - the shelves were empty - no surprise really - I had been in the day before and bought the last four.
Despite this, I still managed to spend £28? then a visit to $ainsbug$ this morning and I spent £48???
I need to meal plan and need to stop making random trips to the supermarket on the way to work and finding stuff to buy. My freezers are full but with not that much that can actually make meals. (so it seems)
I know that I am well stocked for things like toilet roll and cat food, tinned toms, various veg in freezer so will treat April as a using up month.
Will set budget at £250.00
eta budget is actually £201.00 but I am allowing a £49 buffer !

just for me and my dog
I usually come in at around £120-£140 depending on what I'm stocking up with. Last 3 weeks have spent less than £20 per week in Mr S and have been using up what I have etc Plus what helps is making everything from scratch as I find this helps to keep the costs low - especially baking cakes and biscuits etc. And I'm trying to work my way through my massive stock of pasta and lentils etc! Taking lunch to work always helps too
Still a big surprise though :jfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Naughty naughty cat. Just ordered a takeaway. And I'm on my own. Will have loads of leftovers for freezer but just feeling the need for comfort food. Been trying to eat from freezer so don't seem to have any in there. Comes from my budget not GC but feeling guilty already and it hasn't even arrived yet.:oGC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500
