hi all ive gone over again this month, dont know the exact amount but have def gone over, i blame this on not being able to post regularly due to pc ;)

Mrs m can you please put me down for £260 for April please, i will be back to posting regular now as got the laptop sorted out :j
I will lose 2 stone by this summer!!!!!!
  • Ive just totalled up March:eek: £105.57 which included a mass stock up on toiletries and dog treats, ive now got enough shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath to last almost untill my debt free date seriously tho there is enough for the rest of this year at least.

I have analysised the rest of my over spends and have spotted its caused by the chocolate/sweets cravings so i am going to try a 2 pot system for April £10 a week food... £2.50 on sweets/choc/crisps and hopefully this will help discourage the choc buying and help me loose a few love handles along the way as that £2.50 could be going against my debts as its treats not necessities. Did also get a voucher for £8.30 of t3sco dtd which i can use this month so thats my cushion!

So for April can i be put down for £50 please

:rotfl:must now meal plan so that i keep to this stricter healthier regime :rotfl:

Well another £57.28 spent in the last couple of days and I don't seem to have that much for it. Have just unde £109 left until 18th April.
Just need to check freezer and cupboards and get the meal planning done as i've got quite a few possible meals. Today's spend was on some baking items so need to get pies, cakes & biscuits made tomorrow for oh.

Not quite ready to declare yet as I'm gonna do a shop in t3sco this morning. But it's safe to say I've blown it!! However, I'm not gonna beat myself up about it.

Freezer defrosted yesterday, want to use up what's in there before I refill it.

Going to try for £90 for April please

Up & about early for me today, I'm a big Formula 1 fan so sitting doing this whilst watching the race!!

My local is restricted to 2 per customer. I went in the morning with my eldest who bought 2 as well. At dinnertime we were driving closely so I thought I would see if there was any left. There were still loads so my hubby and I bought another 2 each!!!! I would normally go this morning buy now I don't have to!!!!

We have been eating from the freezer this month, so time to pay back the 2nd purse for restocking. I also spent a further £20 on fresh produce.

So 21 days at £3.00 per day thats £63 + £20 + £10 per month to 2nd purse so that brings me in over budget at £148.49.

Added to what's in the 2nd purse that gives me a total of £128.30 in 2nd purse. I will transfer the £28.30 over to the 3rd purse leaving £100 in the 2nd Purse, and a new balance of £124.30 in the 3rd Purse.
I've got an order from Donald Russell coming at the end of April, that was £100. I think I will use the money in the 3rd purse to pay for that, so that will reduce the total in 3rd Purse to £24.30.

With us all being ill this month we didn't eat full meals for about 10 days of March, so we will need to eat from the freezer for April to make sure there's enough room for this order. Yipes

I cooked some beef rib trim in the slow cooker last night, going to take the fat off and make a steak pie for dinner tonight. This cut has a lot of fat in it but its SO tasty. Looking forward to that.

    I'm finalising March today total @ £148.49

And have set my budget for APRIL @ £110
    1st Purse £114.19 Monthly GB
    2nd Purse ££100

Declaring @ £88.86 for March  Although I have been taking advantage of the DTD @ Mr T's so some of the overspend is that.

I posted my April budget earlier, but have now amended it so I'll post again just in case £90 for April Mrs M please

Going to try the weekly envelope thing to see if I can sort myself out

    Have a good day everyone

    Hi.

Final big shop of the month done, £68.31 - more than I hoped to spend really, bringing total up to £254.74/£240.

So - £14.74 over budget, but having said that, there have been a few bits in the basket that really should have been paid for from my "fritter fund" rather then the GC budget, so although I am over, I am not too dissappointed as I know why it happened.

Can't quite declare yet for the month, still need to wait till the 31st, so might even creep a bit higher - though hope not.

Next I have to try and work out what to set April's target at....thinking maybe £220, but making sure I transfer personal spends over to the GC pot if I spend on non-groceries.
Debt Free since Nov 11 (ish) (except the £118000 mortgage :o) as at Jan 2013 but still hanging around DFW as I need to Stay On Track.
