wow taxi you will probably need to have a lie down after reading all of that ... hope things are going good with you ...

well slept till 1.30pm today ... this is getting unreal now ... possibly not helped with mr el and his nightmares ... since he got his meds upped ( the last time not this time) he has had nightmares ... he screams, shouts, kicks, twitches, jumps, shakes and sweats for most of the night .... as you can imagine that really doesnt help me get a sleep at all ... although to be fair just now i could sleep on the edge of a knife ... he mentioned this to the dr last time he was there but i think the dr was more concerned about getting his moods kinda stabilised (hence the reason he upped his meds)

the weather so far seems dry so i intend on getting a little while out in the garden ...i want to get the weeding completed soon so that i can get on with the rest of the planting ... although i possibly have left it a bit late this year for planting tbh ... see what happens when you go away on holiday lol

things are moving swiftly for our son, he now has life insurance, contents and buildings insurance... oh my goodness my boy is growing all up lol ....

Hope you manage a better night tonight El. I gave up the ghost with Mr.B and got the sofa bed out again- had a good nights sleep.

glad you did bob ... it makes such a huge difference if you can sleep doesnt it ?

well mr el tackled the jk he dug up loads of roots so now they are lying out drying so we can burn them in the incinerator ... i managed to weed the full of the back strip and got a good start on the strip along the side of the polytunnel ... plans are that i will get that finished this week as well as the polytunnel and the bits in front of the polytunnel ....

mr el also weeded a bit at the front ... well when i say weeded i mean ... he pulled some bits out then gave up got the glysophate and sprayed the rest and the chips ( got the weed stop under it and yet they still get through) .... thank goodness i am not trying to go organic at that bit of the garden yet lol .... notice the yet there though

it feels great getting some time in the garden ... and looking at what you have achieved is satisfying in a strange kinda way .... have spoken to mr el as well about how we are planning on tackling the gutting of the house when son moves out .... the good thing is the really bad places are the garage ( son's stuff in storage) downstairs (where son sleeps) and spare room ( dumping ground for things just now)

thse pesky weeds just pop out of nowhere taxi ... i reckon mine all had a party while we were away ... all the weeds enjoyed it so much they stayed and then they bred ... so that when we came back not only were all the party weeds there but all there little baby weeds as well ... i have been at it an awful lot this week and at the weekend and i still have more to do ... ok i am now down to the last 1/3 of the area in front of the polutunnel but today i enlisted the help of mr el ...

today i brushed my hair woweee ... and moisturized my face ... been thinking about this new job a bit .. have had a wee squizz over the c.v i am trying to do tweaking it a wee bit here and a wee bit there ... i have decided that when i get the new job i eventually get into management or something ... so i am going to have to be aware of my dress makeup etc from the day i start ... so if i get a new job i am going to have to get myself a whole new wardrobe ... just now in my current job i can go in dressed as a slob ... not that i do alot ... but there is no need to wear makeup etc ... so i am going to have to get myself used to dressing up from the start ..

its something that is not new to me i have had to do it before ... but the truth is it isnt very comfortable to me... so i will have to try and change this aspect of me ...

got the first letter from the tax man so hopefully the cheque is in the post as well .. have decided to divide that into three ... one asset planting two debt payment and three money for the month ... it wont be much into the three but i think it's the best use of the money

    Hi El,

On the garden front I went on holiday around Easter time and swore never to again when I had a garden especially if I was growing fruit and veg. You're immediately in catch up mode when you return if there's been any good weather, and you miss the chance to plant some things too.

Good luck with the new image, the only thing I'd say is start now in little sessions, break it down into small bits, it's amazing how much time and effort it takes, well it did for me but it was a major project!!! I'm tweaking the nails bit of the presentation at the moment :)

I've not been anywhere near it! :rotfl:

Like your forward thinking for the job - makes sense to think that way from the start. If you start 'practising' now you can hopefully find a balance between comfortable 'you' and a businessy image.

well once again i havnt slept great ... wasnt mr el's fault today ... he fell sound asleep at 3am ... me 6am and still staring at the ceiling *sigh* ...

so i am not long up but have phoned the edinburgh botanical garden ... i have been pondering this course for a wee while now ... i am thinking i may go for it see how it goes though... money will be an object ... but if i can get the I.L.A to pay £200 towards it then i will be happy

image wise ... squizz you hit the nail on the head .... i need to get something that is deff still part of me but also more professional looking ... i am dreading the thought tbh ... but have started thinking hairy styles already ... i need something that is easy to keep ... i dont "DO" hair ... so it needs to be easy to keep no chemicals or straightners or anything ... just a brush in the morning ... i fancy something shoulder length ... but what i have just now is a bit longer than that ... i put it up in a bobble ... i kinda have to with my current job ( hair pulling goes on alot) so maybe a start would be not wearing my hair up when i am not working ? and getting it cut ... i just aint very good at styles though hmmmm

i'm deff paying for going away at easter ... see you have it right you do play catch up so soooo long .... but i am going out into the garden for a wee while just now, mr el is painting the metal railings around the verandah so hopefully that will be done soon.... i had planned on the last of the weeding but mr el has taken the kneeling pad and the seperate pads i got are not comfy ... so i will maybe plant instead

    have a lovely day everyone
