Right i want some of your it aint gonna beat me bit .... I dont know why but i am still eating crap and getting annoyed by it all more and more ....
Great news on your mum ... I'm sure she wont mind a little bit of spoiling though .... Will need to arrange a meet up again soon0 -
well today we started with the shopping ... 2 mozzerlla cheese (grated for pizza) 2 for £3 2 loaves of bread 2 for £1.50 and we cash backed £20 for milk etc for as and when we need it ...
took out pizza base from the freezer so it is pizza for me tonight with some frozen fruit ( cherries and blue berries) with icecream for later ( fruit defrosting)
went to the pics to see unknown ... we have budgetted £15 for the month for the cinema ... todays trip came to £5.30 so were doing ok there
ive started reading the richest man in babylon ... i had noticed kc ( i think it was) talking about it on her thread saying i think it was firewaker that had mentioned it to someone else ( i think saving not too sure... i am so bad with names) anyway i started it today and i have to say it really struck a chord with me ... have only just started it but it's making sense ... ok it is nothing new i am learning but somehow i am suddenly understanding things more ... why is that? why do we finally listen to advice after hearing the same advice for years ? why finally do we take heed and say hey thats a good point? ... i wish i had understood it to the level i do now years ago ... my life wouldve been so different ... no point in living in regret but i tell ya things will change ... just hope i am not banging my head off the wall by the time i have finished the book with anger and frustration with myself lol0 -
Just finished the book ... Its a very easy quick book to read ( ive been to the cinema watched fims ,t.v etc had dinner washed dishes and still managed to read it in a few hours .... Would deff recommend it to someone wanting to be in control of their money ... Thanks whoever ( kc. Firewalker. Saving etc) that discussed ir on their diary0

Yep, the Richest Man in Babylon is great. I use the the proportions religiously - well almost (the proportions are slightly different). With one correction - we started putting aside about 12% for doing nice things for ourselves.
