Hiya El, I think there's a lot of debate about whether the 'barefoot' running is better for you - makes sense really as we're not originally designed to wear shoes are we
But have to take your time getting used to running in them. Personally, I hate things between my toes - can only just about bear sandals/ flip flops so the thought of those shoes is a bit.. eeeuuurgggh!

i really should learn how to do multiple quotes lol ..
well today we went to the marriage guidence counselling ... we have one more week left ... i kinda wish we had longer tbh ... purely cause the counsellor seems to be helping mr el alot ... which isnt really marriage focussed but is the reason our marriage got into so much trouble... tonight we are levelling the land ... i soooooo cant wait ... it's been years since i have seen the levellers live ... and they are doing my fav album of theirs ( levelling the land )
money wise going to a gig tonight to look at tatties ( i think its a famour scottish tattie day or something)tomorrow and the theatre tomorrow night to see King Lear is not exactly helping the budget ... but a) i wouldnt miss the levellers if you offered me a grand b) i love shakespear so want to see the play c) tattie day ... well i will report back on that tomorrow lol
hope everyone is good0 -

yeah there is squizz... i'm not sure on which side of the fence i come down on tbh ... although chi running is deff appealing to me ... was thinking more for hypno as she now has that weakness in her nail .... was wondering if they might help her more with her toes ... that and i would love to see the pictures he he he0 -
I've not actually seen anyone out and about in them.

well ive had a fantastic weekend .... on friday we went to see the levellers ... who were amazing as always ... on saturday i bought my tatties for growing ... only 20p each seedy thingy from a local allotment group ( so giving money back to the community ... just the way i like it) and on saturday night we went to see King Lear ... i love shakespear ... it was amazing (although hubby wasnt so keen) .. i didnt know much about the play at all but it was very easy to understand when watching.
today we sat down with the finances ... oh dear not looking good this month at all due to sick pay ... its gonna be a tight month ... but the good thing is we have no other choice.. ok that may not sound exactly like a good thing but it is ... we have to make the money work for the next few months we have no other choice .... so what we learn in these two months could make a difference from now on ( iyswim)
hubby officially takes on the food budget this month as well ... he started to panic but i know he will get it no worries ... he even thought about doing the whole 80p per day per person idea that weezl came up with ... hubby has agreed to try the veggie one but with added meat ... finally he gets it ... he can eat veggie food and add meat rather than meat food and take out the meat yay
so that is roughly where we are financially ... prepare for alot of filter words for the next month or two but we will get there0 -
so today i havnt been up to much ... except .. i was taken out for my lunch by my lovely friend ... it was delicious and great to spend time together have looked at the bills again ... we are £130 minimum short this month so i will need to try and squeeze money from somewhere ...
i am finished with my mother now ... she crossed the line and i am done ... it feels like quite a relief to be honest ... it's something i have wanted to do for a long time but have been persuaded time and time again to let her away with things for the benefit of the family .... well our son is big enough now to have a relationship with my parents without my input needed so i am taking a step back0 -

I quite like the planner for food. Makes a lot of sense, although i do like my pastry with stork rather than veg oil..but then again i can save even more not having pastry and it is better for my waist line..:D:rotfl:
Well done on the weekend sounds fab/ I was knee high in Brownies on camp, little monkeys learned not to stay awake or keep other leaders awake when i am on patrol..:rotfl: One of my friends said they had never seen me in teacher mode and i scared them..all i can say is that it worked and not a peep out of them the night after.:D:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
hi elantan. Well done for taking a stand with your mum. That is very hard to do sometimes. Good luck with OH doing the food budget. I am sure you are going to get very creative with geting round that swear filter!!!! And it will be good experience for him....
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
