"Santa does exist and people who don't believe in him will only get a lump of coal for Christmas so there!" :D Kids....don't you just love them! :rotfl:

That made me laugh! When DS and DD were that age, they said that Santa didn’t exist, as they’d been told it was your parents. DH and I have a reputation for being……….how shall I put this………….careful with money. We explained to them that we wouldn’t be nearly so generous if it were us. That kept them busy, figuring that out. :D

Came home to find that as agreed, DD and DS had washed the dishes and tidied the kitchen. :A

I have realised today that I have run my home according to your sig, Penny, but with the crucial addition:

'or that was given to you by one of your children'.

    It has to stop.

Does cleaning your mothers house count as flying???

todays flying plans flew away. I had planned to refind my kitchen.. but alas it was not to be.. I found my mothers kitchen instead AND her back bedroom.. it was hidden under piles and piles of unadulterated crap and bird seed!!! just disgusting! SO I stripped the bed, banished the birds, filled 2 binbags with junk, vacuumed it and rearranged the junk.. and remade the bed with clean freshly washed bedding.. very nice now!

I have done 1 load of washing
    B/M been on twice
    dishwasher been on twice
I took the small pink creatures to playgroup for an hour
I did beans on toast with fried eggs for dinner because I am so tired.. thankfully the children had a cooked meal at lunch time at school so I didn't feel at all guilty

Tomorrow I MUST get back on track!!!

I have to find some kitchen and I have to vacuum the front room. I must find a path to the bottom of the wash basket and no doubt will end up making another 2 loaves in the b/m .. the children are moaning constantly about the one shop bought loaf I have in the kitchen.. apparently it 'tastes funny' there is no pleasing these children.

Hubby is away to London tomorrow for a couple of days so I'll have the whole bed to myself and be able to go to bed super early!!! Problem there is I will have to get up an hour earlier to get everyone fed as well as dressed and take the baby to school to drop everyone off.. but that is Friday and something to look forward to.

Right.. back to my stargate!!! Episode 7... series... 1 ...... we are a little bit behind the rest of the world! lol

Night all sleep well... and next time we get a new thread will someone pm or email or just shout it at me.. I thought you had all quit on me!! Or were you just avoiding me??

    :hello:

Had a day off yesterday. Had to drive 3 1/2 hrs to pick up my sister from the airport - then of course 3 1/2 hours home again.

    Today -

[STRIKE]Work - hours seem to be getting longer and longer
    Laundry washed, folded, put away
    Dinner
    General tidy of kitchen bench[/STRIKE]
    Ironing
    Finances
    Bed

    Friday:
Laundry - two loads - wash fold put away
Work  (don't normally work on a Friday and this is the second week in a row!)
    Tidy computer room
    Accountant coming at 3pm
    Dinner

    Zone work:
Will do a boogie (as will kids in their rooms)
    Tidy top of duchess
Put all clothes away - yet again
Remove rubble from back yard so machine can come in on Saturday and till soil.

    Phew - think that's enough!

I'm feeling much better today :j BUT I'm not going to push myself too hard to get things done. So my plans for today are:
    • School run
    • Wash a batch of dishes (we're fast running out as I haven't had the energy to wash up and OH didn't have time this morning....won't mention the 5+ hours he spent on his laptop last night though )
    • Wash my hair
    • Surf the net for an hour or two (rest time and lets the hot water heat up again)
    • Have a bath and put on some clean clothes :o
    • Surf the net until school run
    • School run
    • Dishes
    • Wash towels (run out of flannels...may do this earlier in the day, after my bath I think)
    • Tea - Pasta based so DD's lunch for tomorrow will be done
    • Dishes.
    • Surf the net a bit
    • Bed
Plus drink lots of hot drinks, preferably hot toddys, but I've already been through 1/4 of a bottle of OHs whiskey (Aldi's own blended scotch) so I don't think I can have many more :o

Right, off to sort out DD after I've finished my sneezing fit.
