Morning/evening Flybabes/FlyGuy (think that just about covers it.....) :hello:

Didn't get as much done as I thought yesterday, but to be fair I didn't park my behind on the sofa until gone 8:30 - the clothes mountain was bigger than I expected :D. Got dishwasher unloaded and reloaded and dinner done - house nachos  cleared kitchen table and surfaces, too:j

    Today, I are'll be mostly:
    putting away sorted clothes mountain
dinner - might give the fryer an outing and have fish & chips
    DW
    WM
    TD
lounge needs keeping in shape
boogie bedroom :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: - I think it'll be more like a 270 fling boogie

    Up, up and away

  • morning all you busy flies :D

well after a very (!) bad night i am sort of waking up - finally
nothing done upstairs so far (and now OH is asleep)
    - d/w un-reloaded
    - surfaces wiped
    - playroom: toys off the floor and sweeped :T

do you also feel like since you are on top of something (like with me the kitchen) it's so much easier to keep it clean?!?!?! :j
firstly there is less to tidy/clean - secondly you do it sort of straight away because it's less .... does that make sense?! :D

let's make a plan for today
    - toilet
    - bathroom
    - sofas

lunch will be minipizza for kids and tuna/sweetcorn for me :j
no idea what's for dinner
did make a mealplanner but i've lost it

well, plenty in the fridge to chose from :D
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work ;)

It has just taken me 90 minutes to catch up with just my subscribed threads..... I don't want to loose my internet again!

Adding to a list of jobs I want to do as I sit here. Cleaning out under the bed is going to be an unpleasant job as all the Christmas pressies are under there, along with the Christmas tree, wrapping paper (including a roll that "santa has taken away" that is hidden inside of another roll ;) ) and I dread to think what else :o I think that can be added to next thursdays list of things to do as I'll be getting the tree out ready for DD and OH to put up, me to put the lights on Friday while they are both out, and then them to decorate it when they're both in. Reminds me...must add "Check Xmas lights" to my to-do list for this weekend.

On Sunday I got OH to don the rubber gloves and help me wash down all the paintwork in the livingroom. It's not perfect, but you can notice a difference :o:D DD can set too making the paperchains at the weekend...and I might even put them up :shhh::snow_grin Off for another hot drink and to update my to-do list

Empty and clean fridge - done

Did anyone else see the 'shocking' statistics yesterday revealing that lots of people clean their loo more often than their fridge? I'm one of them. Does this prove that I'm
    a) a bit of a fusspot with a squeaky clean loo, or
    b) a danger to anyone who eats here?

    Or, of course, both.

    Also to do

Prescription to chemist for traditional argument with locum (you'd think I'd remember the day to avoid)

New pot of soup bodged from not inspiring ingredients

    Cut out wool jersey skirt

    Pay bills

Top up bird feeders before rain arrives

I want to grind to a halt around 4 o'clock at this time of year. But it's less than 5 weeks to the shortest day, which I find a really cheering thought.

I forgot to say I started the day by getting 2 loads of washing on the line, but noticed that the detergent from the previous wash (Ariel tablet designed for 30 deg) was still in the drawer, soggy, but not dissolved. It's a new washing machine..has this happened to any of you?

Return dvd's & books to library ~ on way to work
Get to bed at a decent hour

    Weekend:
send invites to Christmas party  ~ not done as they had wrong date on them

    Project ~ Spare room:
    Empty stores from wardrobe
Refit rail to built in wardrobe
    Remove free standing wardrobe
    Reposition bed
    Make bed
    Sort book shelf
Sort boxes (0/37 sorted) - hopefully this will go up daily!!!
    Clean window
    Choose curtains
    Hang curtains
    Find floor & hoover

Today's tasks keeping interupted as I have to keep dashing upstairs to check on ds, who has been sleeping in his cot for hours, but as he has lost his voice I fear I will not hear him when he wakes up.

Ds1 still (!) ill so I am working at home today. Mostly tied to sitting next to him on the sofa watching chitty bang bang for the 40th time since Thursday -but he at least will let me work on the laptop.

Need to have a general ground floor tidy, empty the DW, fill the WM a few times and get the TD emptied and put away. At least ironing mountain has gone. I never did make it as far as upstairs to sort out under our bed, but we shall try today if he is feeling well enough to bounce on it whilst I clean. Hopefully he will be well enough to go to nursery tomorrow so I can have a good clean and do some packing. We are supposed to be moving two weeks on Friday so this is becoming urgent.

Can I join in???? May not be able to check in every day (2 week old baby tends to prevent this!) but will give it a go!!! Am on maternity leave but with a baby and 2 DSs (6 & 3) my house could really do with a little FLY-ing!!!

    List for today:

    [strike]Clean bathroom [/strike]
    4 loads (!!!) of washing
Tumble dry as much of washing as possible - put rest on radiators
    [strike]Rearrange hospital appointment[/strike]
    [strike]Catch up with emails[/strike]
    [strike]Post birthday cards/baby gift thankyou letters[/strike]
    Vacuum [strike]upstairs[/strike] & downstairs

    Rest of the week jobs:

    Clean kitchen/floor etc
    Polish lounge
Change our bed - wash & TD covers
    Mountain of ironing!!!
    Polish/dust bedrooms

I'm sure there's tonnes more - always the daily jobs of loading/unloading WM & DW, putting on TD, folding/sorting/putting away clothes!!!!! It's never-ending!!!!!!

    Hello Brummiebabe :hello:

I am impressed you are getting anything done with a new baby and children so full points for being 'bothered'! We can mostly only help with motivation and the odd kick if required
