well today, not a lot done either. 1 load of washing done. I'll try and get a 2nd one on when DH gets in. I need to crank the BM on, but the paddle is missing. I can only assume it was in the loaf i threw out that had gone mouldy. DH will love me when i tell him he has to go through the bin to find it, particularly as he emptied the cat litter tray on top of it, and it also had lots of baby nappies in it. :rotfl:
today - not a lot done as my friend visited for a few hours, and as i haven't seen her for a month it was nice to have a break. I have watched a DVD (rental) , and sat playing with the baby.
shop bought pizza for tea.
When DH comes in i plan to have a bath, stick the BM on if we find the paddle, and try to do some more ironing. All depends on DS and if he sleeps.
hope you lot are doing better than me.
Brummiebabe - i'll be following your progress with interest as baby is 5 weeks old. If you have any tips, please share.
Hugs to all,
Michelle, x0 -

Morning all :hello:
Still ill...why is it the illnesses hit me like a runaway train at full throtal and then take ages to leave me.I mean I take a multivitamin every day to try and starve off things like this happening as I hate not being able to keep the house ticking over.
Anyways, OH saw to DD last night except for drying her hair (he's never got the nack of this whole girls hair thing :rotfl: ) and I was on hot toddy's from 3.30pm when I got in with DD until middnight when I finally managed to lay down without feeling like someone was sitting on my chest/faceI had a REALLY lazy day yesterday and spent the entire day curled up on a comfy chair at the computer (I love having the computer in the livingroom :rotfl: ) so there is a bit of mess throughout the house but I'm ill and lacking in energy so TOUGH
Today I'm going to do the laundry (3 loads) but thats it (except I'll remember to eat today) and I'm spending most of my time curled up at the computer again. OH and DD can help each other out when they come in, might even let DD make her own packed lunch with supervision.
I still have to do the school run, and as usual DD is on a go slow so I'm off in a second (when I've had some of my hot drink) to clean her teeth and wash her face  Roll on 9.05am when I can sit back and Reeeeelllllaaaaaaaaxxxxx and rest!
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Ok - back on board today. Baby is now sleeping after having kept me awake for a good few hours. I really need to alter hos routine around so he sleeps at night and awake during the day.
Wednesdays plan:
1) put BM on (DH found paddle in bin :rotfl: )
2) one load through WM
3) ironing - at least ten items
4) make a pot of veggie soup in SC
5) defrost spag bol sauce, cook spag for tea
6) go to mums, help sisters do a pre xmas toy declutter
7) put away washing up
8) get petrol
9) start organising clothes for weekend away
10) deal with post
11) get travel cot from mums
12) post some letters
will see how i get on with that lot.
Michelle, xx
baileysbabe - when i have a big task like your boxes, it helps me to think of how far through the task i am as a percentage. It feels like i have achieved more. Don't know if it would help you0
