You snogged a boy when you were 9!!!

My girls are 10 and 12 and I would be mortified if I thought they had kissed a boy! I was 14 before I kissed a boy.

12 is quite a common age to loose your viriginity these days so snogging is nothing

    Aaaaarrr what a shame.

Buy him a big bar of chocolate for when he gets home from school and a big cuddle from his mum!

Focus on the real stuff, had he handed over the presents? If not, take them back for a refund, and think himself lucky.

When we moved house and my daughter moved school she came home after the first week with a beautiful sapphire and diamond brooch given to her by her 'boyfriend".

Yep it was a very valuable family heirloom and I was not popular with her for taking her to the door to hand it back to his mum! They were both 11 at the time...

Wait until he gets older! My 15 year old wanted me to buy her a bottle of Jack Daniels to give to her boyfriend for his birthday "But it's what he'd really like, mum!"

unfortunately he's not wrong, alot of my 'friends' were around that age- its terrible!but it's quite 'normal' these days. the most popular 'hang-out' was at the local family planning clinic, either waiting for condoms or the morning after pill!it was disgusting!
thankfully i wasn't like my friends and never was bothered about peer pressure. i was with my first proper boyfriend for 2 1/2 years, i was 14 he was 16 and he claimed to have been 12 when he lost his virginity(i still think this was his way of pressuring me) but he had to wait a VERY long time for me! hehe:rotfl:
  • Well back to the innocent!! :o
He came home from school and said he didnt ever want to go again, just 5 minutes ago took a phone call from a girl, and then he came to me and said (different girl) she's just asked me out is it ok if i call for her on the way to school tomorrow!

Bless, maybe we should just hang onto the pressies just incase he actually needs them one day lol
  • Poor little lad, he sounds like a proper gent, boys i think are so much more sensitive than girls at that age.

I sometimes wish i was young enough to have some of the stuff my teenage pupils get for their birthdays/Xmas. Would love a Me to You teddy, string of fluffy lights or glitter ball for my bedroom. Sadly, don't think DH would allow it!

Well, LMAO and bless!! At least he hadn't handed over the spoils is what I say! She's never going to know what she's missing. What a lovely sounding little lad. Hope his new Mrs desn't treat him with the same contempt, he deserves a nice lady to treat him kindly!

Big hugs and lets hope it's not a rebound thing ;)
