I prefer not to be doubtful of the original poster until proven untrustworthy. And I certainly think that the concept itself is very believable.

Just because the box has a Lot number below 633 doesn't mean it WILL scan at a higher price .... the OP is only saying that he went into the store asking for a lot number lower than 633.... he actually says he got one with a lot number of 610 .... which unexpectedly scanned higher than the SEL .... so perhaps those of you who have tried and failed when scanning a 630 have actually got updated barcodes .... and you need to go for OLDER lots!

its true with a lot of the products just look at the digital radios they had two different barcodes with two different prices and some of us got lucky:D

Could I ask for some info/help please

Reported last week at £19xx, going thru at £22.xx
EVERY store I went in had it clearly at £22.xx
Today I have just noticed a whole batch with £19.xx sticker and sel

Last week when I was hunting for Stormbreaker, and eventually got one with lower priced sel.......it had gone DOWN to that price that day - typical....
So could some kind soul confirm what SIC 1 is currently scanning at.
I haven't got a scanner in my store, and I am running out of excuses for returning games and dvds when they suddenly drop the price.

I have just checked the mis-price thread and Jedi posted today that they got one, but don't know if that was scanned today, or just posting info today. Knowing my luck, Tescos have probably dropped the price. I am getting suspicious after having no luck finding any, and now both a sel and price sticker at the lower price.

That is of course possible. Different stores could also have amended the price for older ones so they match the new price.

For reference the barcode was 8-82224-03588-0

Maybe someone with a different lot number could tell us what their barcodes are so we can compare?

Postman told us ages ago he was part of a group, the poster of the post you answered said this as well.........you havent discovered anything new.

I think you'll find fdj is an old contributor, he has to fade in and out as he can't hold his temper or animal instincts at bay for long.

Read a little about this xbox saga - now don't shout at me, but the only way the items would scan at different prices would be if the barcodes are different. So what I am assuming that you're saying is that lower lot numbers have different barcodes.
