Hey i managed to nab a Tony Hawk's today from the Beckton store,my first r&r for over a year because i got bored with doing it and they were always on the ball.The CS girl did say she told them to remove the label yesterday so who was that who went in and got one from Beckton yesterday?..lol

And to think i only went in to see if i could find myself a lovely Xbox:)

Hi I went to a Tesco store today and thought I would have another try at doing an r&r (I'm quite new to all this, only really had meat before)
I found the triple boxsets that everyone has been posting about and thought I would have a go at trying to get a few. When I got to the customer service desk they told me that they could only offer me the difference because it was not their fault that the stickers where on the box as they were put on by an external complany?!?! I tried to argue about it for a while but they wouldn't buge and because I was on my own and there was two of them I felt like they were trying to gang up on me. I the end I accepted the difference in price which they marked on the reciept and left feeling defeated
Is there anything I can do about this or have I missed the boat on an r&r now because I left the store??
Any advice would be gratefully recieved, thanks

my mate is in store right now (on the phone). the premium pack on its own is 279 sel, the premium with pro evo is also 279. which should he go for? help quickly needed!

I would call customer services HO they should arrange for your full refund as I was told that the Tesco Policy applies across all stores. The external company would have applied the stickers on the advise of Tescos so it is most definately Tesco's fault, also it is up to Tesco's to remove expired stickers not the external company, this is definately a case of an overcharge & you are due a R&R.

Interestingly, I was looking thru' old receipts yesterday (needed to return something)....and I found one from around 3 weeks ago where the Finest Ham DID cause the discount to come off. So Tesco has pulled the offer from the ham recently but left up the same large yellow (non-specific) SELS.

If TS want to follow this up I can anonymously provide a copy of the relevant part of my receipts (clubcard details & transaction no. covered of course).

It's a small point but one TS may like to look at, bearing in mind how many packs of Finest ham must be on a store's shelf (TS fine x number of packs..!).
