  • Anyone have a specific email address for someone in complaints at Tesco I have been emailing them since the beginning of October re: a complaint about the Motorola L6's all I keep getting is an apology and a holding email (we are looking into this).

    Phone them up :money:

    Re Xbox bundles ...

Today the PES bundle scanned at £279.xx with an SEL of £279.xx

Saw a Gears of war Bundle but it had a SEL of £297.xx. It been posted it scans at £297.xx so left it alone. So watch out for correct SELs !

Also saw a SEL for the PGR Bundle but stock was removed and SEL price covered with 'out of stock'. Guess someone got a free bundle today !

I saw the Gears of war one today and certain the sel was £279.xx-maybe i should have gone for it but bottled out. Tried the Tony Hawkes one instead but it was sacnning at the right price.

unless you see a sel advertising a product then you cannot claim anything its like seeing beatles cd on the rolling stones place at different prices it could be down to customers oputting things back in the wrong places

just been to my local tesco, i found the gears of war xbox set in the same slot as the normal xbox 360 premium system for 279.99, would i get an r&r on this?? i picked it up to try and then lost my bottle!!
i also looked behind customer service desk to find the r&r promise BUT i couldnt find it unless it was writen in the big blue board with loads of other rules???
Ideally you need to see the SEL with the Gear of War bundle written on it and the wrong price ie £279.xx.

Otherwise they may say its not the right label you're looking at !
Might be worth a try if you don't mind raising your profile in this store.

You'd have to be prepared to ask for manager when first CS refuses as they almost certainlly will.

i think other people have managed to get one this way, but i am a bottler, would love to do it on something smaller first like an xbox 360 game, but every tesco i have been recently either doesnt seem to stock it or it has been correctly priced

Surely just picking up the product from somewhere it shouldn't be is not an R+R opportunity, otherwise you could (in theory) just take an HD TV to the till and get an R+R because you claimed you found it amongst the baked beans :)

Is it possible to try and get an r&r and if they refuse just say you no longer want it as you thought it was the lower price & just get a simple refund? Sorry if this is a stupid/obvious question-i'm still new to all this r&r-ing. Just rang my partner and we're off on a bit of a road trip to tesco tonight to see what we can get

Do you know what, you really are a sarcastic so and so. This is not the first time you have made a comment like this to a newbie. Let them find their feet, before you have a go.

We all started somewhere you included, and I am sure there were questions you needed asking at the time. So lay off the newbie, just try saying nothing if you can't be bothered to say anything constructive.

    Mike

I understand whay you're saying, however, it is also unfair when people don't take the time to at least try and find out some of the information themselves !, the information is clearly available and I like many others are more than willing to clarify and help where possible, but there are just as many who get sick and tired of answering obvious questions from people who cannot be bothered to look for the something that is in front of their nose. The amount of posts saying things like "are there any X-boxes at the Wolverhampton branch ?"

So get off your soap box and defend someone that actually needs your help, sorry mods !
