Well, its not really like that is it. The SEL says Xbox 360 console, and behind it is an Xbox 360 console.

Its like mixing up Heinz beans in tomato sauce with salt, and Heinz beans in tomato sauce without salt, and an SEL that says Heinz beans.

In my store, (these are in the DVD cases) they have three Gears of War bundles, and behind them three premium packs on a DVD space rack, with the SEL of a premium Xbox 360 (right for the premium packs, but lower for the GoW). All the difference is on the pack is a picture of Gears of War.

I'm tempted to try this tonight, as it is very misleading...

They might offer you a £20 refund. What do you say then?

if the sel is lower than the scanned item of the same product then there is a misprice

yes, you're absolutely right, and this is what I managed to do today, and now I have a free xbox bundle with gears game. The description on the label can be understood as either package really. I asked someone to get me one... they went off and brought back the bundle, so i paid for this, and then went for the R&R with success. took 15 mins of arguing, but even they were confused with the labels in the end! result!

uhh...didn't get that far in my thinking...sorry! umm...maybe take their offer then return it for a refund at another store? It's so frustrating

can almost guarantee you they will offer you the difference. stand your ground and remind them of their own policy. Mention trading standards if you really have to... they'll start backing down, trust me.

wlcf1, if you are tired of answering straight forward questions then don't! It's as simple as that. I've been watching the posts for months but as i was employed by them at the time i used it to fix my stores problems. It takes a while to get used to the site so cut the newbies some slack..

thanks for this. i might try this tonight (if they have it instore)-will post my findings later on. pretty sure my local had a description of just xbox but only had the xbox/gears of war dvd box there. gaining more confidence now to go try.
could you please just clarify by stating the sel and scanning price?thanks

Has anyone seen any xbox's with smackdown bundle?

Saw this at my local store, and it was under a heading of just xbox 279.99, but no sel for that particular bundle. But dunno what the scan price was. Maybe someone else has tried it?
