Re the comment I have copied below from a previous thread - I saw Premium and PE6 for £279.99 - will this go through the tills dearer?? I didnt try as I had my little one with me and he was hungry, will go back today if it is wrong. Cant believe they are selling with a game, the same price as without!
No other misprices for me today
If your gonna quote prices please make sure you get them right
The Core pack was £184.97 has gone up to £194.97
The Premium pack was £259.97 and is now £279.97
The bundle packs dont seem to have changed still £279.97 for PES6 and the other one, but the bundle with Gears of War is £29x.xx I ant remember if it was £297.97 or £299.97.0 -
I would love to see some figures on Xbox losses yesterday.
I know the OP asked if everyone could PM him so see how many but did they post the results?
I would think, over 100?We took on Mr T and we won:D
Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now :beer:0 -
Jaffa, you need to see a SEL of £259.97 on the premium, or £184.97 on the core, if you don't see, you won't get!Sig ah Sig Ahhh0

Thanks
Once you have paid and the retailer has taken your money, there is a legally binding contract. Therefore they owe you an Xbox...simple as!
In theory (IIRC), you could actually give them a decent amount of time to get you one, and if they don't you can buy one somewhere else (even at a higher price) and sue them for the money including the extra difference.
Stick to your guns, these are in stock in lots of places and now that the TESCO offer is over, just nip back into store in a couple of daysand if they're on the shelf ask for your console.

Thanks DeeDee 73.
Re the sale price of an item. Can I ask a very basic question but when someone says it scans at XXX does that mean that is the national scan price? I know that the SEL's can be different I just wanna know that when someone says it scans at a certain price that means that it will for everyone in the country.
Thanks Lisa0 -
...was going to put a few things with SELs ending today, but wouldn't want to give them at T's a head start would we!!!!!!!!!
No luck on Xbox so please Ter give me one! ( one more good R&R)

eco21 wrote:Hi,
I went to my local Tesco Stroe where they had the free standing display unit showing the price of £184.97; I thrn bought this, and it scanned at £197.94 I think.
I then paid for the product and went to the electrical desk where I was told that I would only get £10 difference. I asked why; then a manager came over and started speaking to me; saying I was now agreeing to a verbal contract; that I could not bring the XBox back; as he was telling me it was £194.97 and it wasn't overpriced. I said I have been overcharged; he said no you haven't; the sign is out of date; I said why is it on the floor. He said he doesnt know. I said if you are the head of electrical department; isnt your job to ensure that isn't on the floor; he said yes.
He said your agreeing to a verbal contract; I said no Im not; Im going to phone head office; he then said I am going to refuse the sale; and told me I cant have it. I phoned HO and he went away; after speaking to some other stuits he came backa nd said that there was none in stock; I said why are you advertising stock you dont have at a price you wont sell at?
He said it doesnt matter and that I will refund you the money now; I said no; I will wait for you to get tehm back in; he said he wont get any back in, I said between now and Christmas; you wont get any back in, he said no.
I took my recipet and gave him my details, and left teh store; I have the recipet to collect the xbox when they come back in store; and will pursue HO with the overcharge.

I am thinkibng of emailing a letter to the MD and know a gentleman at a newspaper who maybe interested in some information.
The way I was treated was ridicolus, and I want to know what the next steps for me are;
Thanks
A bit late now, but for anyone else, ALWAYS make sure you actually have the xbox 360/electrical item in your hand before making a R&R claim.
It's far too easy for them to just say "oh sorry, we don't have any in stock"0 -
Are there any other X box games out there apart from the Tony Hawks games. I'm new to X box - as of yesterday :whistle:0
