Birth Announcement .......from rozeepozee ....copied from a "coupon thread"

Totally off thread so apologies for purists but just wanted to let you guys know that my first child Zain was finally born by emergency caesarean section after 27 hours of contracting (and a determined refusal to turn head down) at 7.06am on 17 November 2006 weighing a grand 5lb 15 1/2 oz, although he is very long, like his dad!

I'm gonna have to make sure I find lots of coupons now he's here

    .................................................. .................................................. .

I'm sure we wish rozee and her family "all the best".
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

  • I think HO will send out an emergency host message to make damn sure the old sels are down.

I didn't go for the xboxes today, as I got two back in Sept (well, I got one, then the OH got one from another store a few hours later). I'm trying to keep a low profile for a bit, anyway.

EDIT: Looks like HO may have has put out an emergency recall notice, or whatever it's called (premiums might not scan through the tills now). Core packs still working though.

My local had the blue label on the 360 at 10 am this mornign so maybe totally unconnected MUNT, they also had it on guitar hero and when I asked why the lady said it was because they were going through as unrecognised item?
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

I've been to three different Tescos and every one has that Jamie Oliver book with a sticker on the book a penny less than the SEL. They then scan at the lower price. It must be some kind of deliberate effort by Tesco to make SELs 1p over the actual price for certain products then put the correct price as a sticker on the book so R&Rs buy them.

Perhaps the security guys are looking out for people carrying big white books around with them, then bringing them back the next day for a refund. I did feel like when I bought a few of these books that I got a funny look from the cashier like something ticked when he saw my purchases, I'm very sure he was watching to see if I was watching the prices as they scanned through then watching to see whether I looked at my reciept as soon as a I got it.
