Tesco misprice discussion area part 14

Just thinking this is the most this thread has been on topic all week.

Where are the Tesco bods, any comments?

Good to hear you managed to get the xbox as well. That was the second store I had vistied, the 1st had the correct prices.

I didn't go for the xboxes today, as I got two back in Sept (well, I got one, then the OH got one from another store a few hours later). I'm trying to keep a low profile for a bit, anyway.


EDIT: Looks like HO may have has put out an emergency recall notice, or whatever it's called (premiums might not scan through the tills now). Core packs still working though.

Problem is that according to a member of staff the stand, the hexagonal one, has the price printed on it and these stands are supposed to be in store until Xmas. So stores will either have to sticker over the lower price (illegal) or remove the stands (too dim/lazy). I think it is more likely that they will quickly adjust the price, I hope they do I will def be back on the phone tomorrow if the price goes back down.

To all of you who got your xboxes without a fight, well done :T , may you suffer repetitive finger and eye strain.:rotfl:

While I was getting my R&R in one store tonight I overheard a manager come and tell CS girl of over priced xboxes and stuffed some paper under her nose and to sort it out!!

thats what theyve done in my store

No Problems for me at all. Offered the difference but when she checked with the manager he agreed it.

That was 6:30 so they must have removed them from sale since then.
