dont bother with out of date SEL for Tassimo it scans as £79.**, forgot my CC again!

The above proves my point about the dates on SELs - Tesco is not consistent. They often extend offers without changing the SELs, so the old date is left showing. How is a customer meant to know if an offer has really ended or if it has been extended? I would use this as a back-up argument should HO pull the "our legal dept. has said we can leave up incorrect price labels if there is an offer ends date on them and that date has passed" crap.

I tried to make this point with DM and HO, it was like banging my head on a brick wall, all I got was 'well this offer hasn't been extended'. SO WHY LEAVE THE BLINKING PRICE UP THEN! I was pretty calm instore and on the phone, have emailed now, so just waiting.

Hello mate - If you are the same chap and the same store (you are firstly very tall) and also top work - If I'd got the bottle to do it at your age I would be amazed. I had just got the Xbox Core pack from another store (shall we say University?) and I was quite happy to take Tony Hawks. But fair play to you chap - I was over the moon with my days work in any case, and I didn't want to say anything so the little MSE wink came into play!!!

You should have said "You often leave up out of date price labels when the offer has been extended, so how was I supposed to know this offer hadn't been extended?"

Report the store to TS, FF. Both the store and HO are definitely wrong on this one. Also send Sir Leahy a letter, stating that you're considering taking this issue to court. (If you don't mention court, it will get passed to CS.)

Re above posts I have gone for quite a few out of date SELs lately and they have then been extended

HO already know me hoping they are as accommodating second time around. Not holding my breath though.

I'm wondering if we could see a repeat of the L6, when they reduced the price down the next day. It will be interesting to see if the xbox xhanges price back down tomorrow morning.
