You don't have to go far back in the thread to find it, it is where you buy something, claim R&R on it but they do not mark your receipt. You are then capable of returning it to another store(preferably) to claim your money back.

Just to clarify . Can i get R&R on a item that has been on offer but has expired but they have left a poster out saying it is a lower price.

As far as I'm aware, and I'm speaking from considerable personal experience, Tesco have never alleged any wrongdoing over Golden R+Rs, and Dundee have been fully aware of the number of Goldens I've had, and those of a number of other MSE R+Rers. Believe me - if they thought it was wrong, they'd have let us know about it. It's the serial R+Ring which they have a problem with, but not the Golden R+Rs.

Putting the moral debate to one side (as there's a separate thread for that), it's never been established that there's anything legally wrong with Golden R+Rs, and Tesco have never had any issue with it, to my knowledge. From a financial/business point of view, a Golden R+R will make no difference to Tesco as they will just sell it to someone else for the same amount they gave you, so I honestly don't believe they care. It's the original R+R that hurts them, not the Golden R+R.

Personally I would advise magpiejay to go for the Golden if he/she wants a nice little pot of free cash in time for Christmas, but I appreciate we all have different views on it.

Question for all you lucky new Xbox 360 owners. At my local tescos they have DVD cases for the Xboxes and so you have to take the DVD case to the electrical desk to get it scanned, as there is no bar code on the case. So are all you people efectively 'buying blind' and just hoping that it will scan at the lower price? And If it doesn't I suppose you just abort and escape from the store immediately....

Help, got a core xbox 360 overcharged by £10, refused refund as the date 26/11 was on there. Head office said that the store will contact me.
What do I do now?

Head office cannot do anything other than tell them to refund you. Did you take the name of the person you spoke to at head office, if so call them back and say something like you are still in the vacinity of the store so would apprecaite a quick responce or even offer to hold on - i did this a couple of times recently with phone related rnr's
