On shelf for £184.97 charged £194.97. "Oh I think you have charged to much as your label says £184.97, I'll show you" so off we went, I was almost skipping with joy ! She removed the SEL & said that she would refund the £10 overcharge. "Does your policy not apply to this then as it is definately an overcharge" I ask. She called over the supervisor who said "yes that's the policy give full refund" :T
Popped into another Tescos to check there Xboxes but they were at the new price, but got to legs of lamb total £9.98 R&R.
Thanks again Osakan.
Woh, hold the phone, just got in. I take it the xbox price changed today. Is it just the core thats changed any others changed price.
Well done by the way.:T0 -

I posted this in the wrong thread I think, so I'll repeat here.sallyx wrote:I saw at my local tesco a crate of Gaymers Old english cider on offer 3 for £24. The offer expired on the 7/11. Does anyone know if this is going through at the offer price? or the standard price. May have to go back and try it out
I'm in shock! I spotted that my local tesco still had the yellow offer label on the Gaymers cider this morning so I went for it!
3 x 18 cans of Gaymers old english scanned at 9.98 each, but the multibuy reduction (Beer 2 for £16) only came to £3.96, so I calmly went to CS and innocently asked whether I had been overcharged.
The CS lady was confused and wandered off to check the price, 10 minutes later she returned saying I was going to have a good Christmas!I acted surprised of course
The upshot:
Originally scanned at £29.94
Multibuy .................- 3.96
Paid .......................£25.98
Refund ...................£29.94
They PAID ME £3.96 to take the cider off their hands  :j :j
Worth seeing if your local tesco has forgotten to remove the yellow label!
Thanks Sally! I wouldn't have realised the offer had ended 3 weeks ago without reading your post.
Of course none of this seems quite as exciting as the xBox bonanza SunnyD got! :T

Just did my first r+r today, tesco a nice shiny xbox premium. shelf label 259.97, charged 279.97. Was offered the £20 difference until i mentioned their own policy. they did have both prices for the core system on display. Anyone know any good games in tesco at the moment, would love to try out my xbox 360...0

I got one!!!! £280 r&r - be sure to have it in your hands at the end of the initial transaction before you mention the price. they tried the whole : "we havent actually sold it to you yet" routine.0

luckily I had to go to the electrical desk where I paid for it, then took a trip back to the shelf as if just checking that my eyes hadn't deceived me, closely followed by a trip to customer services.0
