You'd expect them to wouldn't you, however in reality its like the stock market, sometimes they go up, sometimes down, and sometimes they stay the same. But if they go up, there will always be a mistake made somewhere in relabelling the shelves, with some or all of the labels not replaced.
Hence this mornings XBOX extravaganza! I went looking for Pirates of the Caribbean and came home with an xbox. At least I can start looking for xbox misprices for myself now instead of just you guys.

(Incidentally, if you prefer contemporary music, NOW 65 is mispriced in places also)
  • Was thinking of the best way to check prices the other day, I work for Tesco and it's quite easy to check a price using a reduction gun, maybe getting quite friendly with the reduction person? Or just use them a couple of times to check the odd thing (they can type numbers in so do dvds etc)

On the subject of banning (Tesco has the right to ban anyone it likes) but surely just telling them that you will call trading standards about their illegal advertising should make them sweat a little (trading standards can give pretty heavy fines for each misprice they find). It's then their choice whether to ban you and risk getting trading standards in each time a misprice is found (either by reporting ones on here or maybe your mates could let you know ones they see as they're not banned, or you could go in overight stealth style!) Or they could let you do your r&ring and it'd cost them alot less in trading standards fines!

    Their choice!

heading to tesco's at lunch time. fingers crossed.
  • No luck with X boxes for me

Had to make do with some books instead:D
    I had a plan..........its here somewhere.
  • Also I could check prices on a Sunday if needed, numbers should be posted by about 1pm so I can check them at lunch time. I have an XDA so can go on then net whilst at lunch, no guarentees but should work ok. In reply to an earlier post about wifi in cafes and then going r&ring straight after, would it not be easier to use a mobile phone to look at the thread whilst going round? T-mobile and Orange (I think) do internet for just a pound a day so you should get that money back in no time.
  • lol they put the xbox 360 prices up just before christmas which is a bit of a crapper good luck to any who trys to get 1 for free

did anyone know about the prices on the 360 being put up before this morning ???
