I find it quite stressful following the medical assessment, waiting for the letter to arrive from DWP advising of the result.
Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time

I am surprised that you were told that it was rubbish that IB assessments were far easier, we all know that they were.

I think the reason they concentrate on the newer ones is because they have more chance of getting a job whereas the long term claimants have little chance - I am not saying this is right or wrong.

I agree with you, but it is hardly fair is it? Undoubtedly there are many people who could be taken off IB and so they should concentrate on these people regardless of whether or not they are less likely to get a job. After all it is supposed to be sick benefit, not just what is more convenient:mad:

I haven't reached that far yet but yes, I'm dreading waiting to hear the result, but not as much as I'm dreading the assessment tomorrow :o

I have just realised I don't have any proof it is me apart from my birth certificate as my passport ran out just over 12 months ago

Another damn things that got looked over due to this illness.

All bills are in my husband's name.

So goodness knows if they will assess me or not tomorrow
  • I just used my out of date passport and they where fine so hopefully you wll be ok with that

Once again, what false information is this, and what's your own experience of such medicals?

I have already made it clear in other posts and I am not going to repeat myself anymore as you complain when I do that.

I've already said what I've said on that one, and it's just going round in circles, so let's just leave it at that.

So have I but you just keep repeating things again and again so best to stop.

So, we can take it you have no experience of such assessments?

Thank you, that's all I needed to know.

I have made no comment as it is none of your business if I have or have not.

I do not see how you can know you have got the right answer when you have answered your own question.
