Sort of flying related...
Just double checking our accounts for the end of the month and I have a question. I have a direct debit that goes out on the 29th of the month, when will it go out this month? I was getting ready to move some money over to make sure I could cover it but don't know if it goes on the 28th or the 1st.
I think it could go either date, they could call for it early so if you think it would make you overdrawn it would be safer to move the money over.0 -
Thanks LW, just checked my online banking but it doesn't show all my outgoings. I get paid on 28th anyway so will be ok but am going to transfer some over just in case.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1931.07/£2700

usually the terms of a DD agreement say on or after (date); this covers the DDs which may fall due on a weekend as Saturdays and Sundays (and Bank Holidays) are NOT banking days.
It depends on the terms in the specific agreementDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Best thing I ever did was moving in with Mr LW.;)
It sounds like Mr LW is really good to you - im glad hes looking after youRe Asbo, and Grateful's documentary that she mentioned - i totally believe that he does her the world of good. Not just for the companionship, which is fab for her, but she has to go out for a walk etc...

You are allowed to put them to bed early then. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Thanks for joining me, LW. After about 40 minutes (and DS2's help) the LR looks a bit better. Most of te floor is clear (just a few corners left) and has been hoovered. Sofa and one chair is clear, but I need to move the mountain of washing from the other chair. Lots of hotspots left, but maybe I'll have the motivation to carry on.
No sign of small cat yet, so the vet visit will probably have to wait until tomorrow.
ETA (((hugs))) vanilla. It might sound funny, but it definitely won't be for you. Take a deep breath, have a cuppa and stick them in bed. x0
