OH cleaned the office including sorting paperwork, cleaning units, and clearing out what no longer needed, I cleaned the windows in office when I got home and continued with top landing and master bedroom including ensuite (just got shower to do tomorrow) also cleaned mirrors, shelved, bathroom sink, toilet and wiped down units just got bath and shower cubicle to do in there tomorrow.

Feel reading this is keeping me on track and giving me the motivation which I have lacked the last few weeks. I work full time as well as 3 hours on a Sat and Sunday, hopefully by following this I will be able to get some time to enjoy instead of the time at weekend I have free trying to catch up with housework. Happy cleaning everyone. :T:T

Valli - I have lived on the breadline/hand-to-mouth or whatever Vanessa wants to call it. Ive never made chicken nuggets for my little one.... They were too expensive :D.... cheap cuts of meat, vegetables, my slow cooker, dried foods and home baking were a much cheaper way to live! :rotfl:
    that's what I thought!

my house is quickly beginning to resemble Steptoe's parlour - more stuff brought out of mum's attic to e bay

she has various things up there from her parents house and my great aunts house. She cannot let some of the things from grandma's go yet (only 17 years ago since she died;))

  • Hi hope everyone's ok - will catch up later. No flying done here all week but I have been picking stuff up as I go so it still looks reasonable. My ebay stuff finished on Sunday night and it looks like I've made 30 odd quid :T. Funny what I thought would go, didn't and what I thought I'd be charityshopping went ?!? So Monday morning was spent packing stuff and Monday afternoon went to post it all and get a bit of shopping. Monday night was usual can't get to sleep before checkup night. Yesterday was spent at hospital seeing consultant - all's ok for another 3 months. Went to gig last night and drove home - didn't get to sleep til nearly 4am. Today, dressing gown day - did sort out oh's b'day presents online and made stirfry for me and ds2 - headache all day so in bed now. Got dentist in the morning (hour drive) so need to get some sleep tonight. Hoping to catch up with lists tomorrow but will probably do the surface stuff and leave the grime til next week. Good thing is there's not as much grime as there used to be thanks to a few weeks of this thread :j Nite x

OMG yes!! Have just decluttered a glass of wine, and then I'll go put on the leccy blanket (not very MSE but upstairs is freeeeeeezing!), S&S the kitchen, and then I'm for an early night.

Hope you're less knackered tomorrow Jo, you'll be no good to OH if you're tired :D;)
