How many trials do you have to do? I agree trials without pay is very cheeky. Is there a chance of some shifts where you could use public transport.
I was up last night for a short shift, wants me back full shift on Thursday for breakfast. Even if I got a bus part way, still well over a mile to walk to get there, through an industrial estate! He says they do rotating shifts so it would probably mostly be taxis at least one way. At £4 a pop.

Afternoon all, not caught up yet so I hope everyone's OK.

I've done all the bedrooms this morning and also dusted the living room and computer desk and vacuumed through downstairs. Two loads of washing draped round indoors. Veggies etc prepared for dinner.

I'll try to catch up now.

could you get hold of a bike? Maybe second hand?

I cycle to work 5 days a week and think of the £15 I've saved......

As I only earn £40 ish per week £15 is FAR too much to pay out for buses...
