    Hidi-Hi Campers,
I am so rubbish at this, but I think it is a lot to do with how much rubbish we have here.
I keep up with the cooking, washing up, washing and drying - including bedding.
However, lots of the rest goes to pot.
I really need to do as Pigpen says and look on every day as a new opportunity to get stuff done. If I start a clearance effort in one small corner and treat the huge dumping ground that is our house as a major dot-to-dot challenge that might start to make a difference.
Thanks for listening, I find this whole housework thing very demoralising.
Have a good Sunday, hugs to those who need or want, Silver x
silvermaid whoa there - that could be where you are going wrong honey - stop looking at the house as a whole - only deal with the room that is on the list for that day and then move on to the next room the next day - if you do your dailies as you have been doing but then are only managing odd bits its no wonder you are losing heart. work out (if you haven't already) a little daillies list that gets done no matter what else and then what time you have spare after that is spent on pigpen's list for that day - either do dot2dot or do something from the list - it does take 3-4 weeks to get things under control using the lists so dont be hard on yourself thinking you are rubbish - you are not - just a bit overwhelmed - if you can rop in anyone else to help that would be great - it can be a single daily job or 5 mins decluttering - it doesnt need to be a mammoth task - break everything done into bite size chunks and you will achieve a whole lot more (((hugs)))
boddy oh no not again - what about someone at the council - our noise section is run by the council - and if its rented then make sure the Landlord knows whats going on - they are not going to make your life miserable (((hugs)))
MrsChaos (((hugs))) stay strong and think ahead
Froddy hope there hasnt been too much damage with the flooding
Dusty WOW! what a busy lot you have been:T:T:T:T yes I am fairly sure its anyone - I didnt get an email and its working for me.
Mumof2 glad you had a good time.

I am not officially joining you doing the spending diary as I am hopeless at doing it but maybe seeing you all do it will help me in some way.

ok must go and see what i can do before evensong.

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

shopping bought and put away-nearly £100 so much for a small shop....ho hum we like to eat what can I say? That's for a week for 4 adults and 2 cats. Part of the problem is my hubby is a fussy !!!!!!, he likes to eat at about 4.30 so I leave something for him and then cook for DD+BF who lives with us and myself after work (usually between 7.30-8.30 depending on what shift DD is on)

anyway house looking GOOD!!!!! due to huge clean up on Friday, just trying to keep it tidy now :)

Must go and do some school work now!!
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last
  • I think school work is very subversive as it expands to fill every single available space and is even stronger than housework at this!!!!!! Silver x

  • Hi everyone!
Late start today as I stayed up to ridiculous o'clock with eldest son and youngest daughter celebrating their drama group getting through to the semi-finals of an acting competition thing. They'll be going up to Orkney in a couple of weeks to put the play on there. Very exciting for everyone involved.
Spending Diary Re. starting on March 1st, yes, I'm in on that. It'll be good to have some company too :)
I'll pooter off now and do a workable budget and put down a wee strategy...... x

  • Hello everyone. Where did half term go?? I have done a load of washing today and DH has stacked the log mountain, but little else achieved.

Hugs, sticks and spoons to all in need.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

  • I found a little paperback cash book, its thin enough to go in my purse, so when I go the buy anything it will be right there, all I need now is a little pencil to tie on it and I wont have any excuse to not keep my spending diary up to date, problem is I can already see it missing stuff!!!

Nice day here, but some sharp showers while out at garden centre, I managed to come away without buying anything:( which must be a first.

of to declutter scones I made earlier with blueberries and cream.
    Diet, what diet???:D
