is this £100 mark before the DTD or as i would guess it would be after they have given you the DTD.. so in theory u can save £50 on their selected prices then the DTD...

Doesn't seem to work like that :rotfl:! I'm off to spend my coupons asap.

I just spoke to Tesco on the phone, and they said this double the difference is only temporary.

Indeed. However they are still on the tesco and asda websites described as the identical product.

Does anyone know if they are still honouring the double the difference deal on easter eggs, even though it has been removed from their own price checker?

The Tesco Price Check Terms and Conditions say.
"Only grocery products that are sold on Asda’s Home Shopping site are included and compared against in the Tesco Price Check."

as asda sell it on their "Home Shopping site" then tesco must include it or risk getting sued and bad PR. they probably just removed them from the items you can check before you buy to put peolpe off buying them.
I plan on getting paid £2 to buy an egg and if it does not work boy are tescos going to hear about it!
Cadbury Dairy Milk Large Egg 343G

    tesco £6 asda £2
    difference £4
    spend £6 get £8 back
£2 profit and an egg :-)

    alos got my eye on:
    Kellogg's Honey Loops (375g) asda £1 tesco £2.35 (35p profit)
    Kellogg's Multi-Grain Start (375g) asda £1 tesco £2.39 (39p profit)
Dairylea Strip Cheese (8x21g) asda £1 tesco £2.26 (26p profit)
    and still looking for others

Can anyone advise please? I've prepared a shop that will get me a good DTD voucher if it works out. Can anyone please tell me if using money off vouchers or spend and saves will affect it. Is the DTD based on the cost of the items or the final amount you have paid after taking off the vouchers?

PS A good item to buy to get the voucher is the Heidsiek Blue Top Dry Monopole Champagne Non Vintage. It is £28.99 at T's but only £19.00 at Asda. Gives a £19.99 voucher. HTH

The DD system works on the final price AFTER multisaves etc but BEFORE MOC's and spend & saves - after all, those coupons equate to cash.

I think people should bear in mind that its only worth buying expensive stuff like champagne and very large packs like the Persil (which give you a very good reduction but are obviously not as good as stuff which is less than half price in ASDA) if you really want the items/normally buy it. Getting £19.99 back on a £28.99 spend is great - but £9 is still a lot to spend on a bottle of bubbly if you don't normally have the budget for it.
