I just got my email back, Tesco was 91p more expensive, so I have to print off a voucher for £1.82 and give it to the driver with my delivery note. Tesco were more expensive on Danone shape delights, Warburtons Bread, Birds Eye simply succulent prawns, Belvita bars and Cafe direct filter coffee.
Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j
  • My results showed that Tesco were cheaper. The details showed that Asda had the same prices or were more expensive. Seems a bit fishy in that they could not compare everyday products like Aquafresh toothpaste, Kingsmill bread and Dove body lotion?

the strange £3 item should be a packet of ham. i dont know why its blank like it is. it was £1.80 at asda, so technically they still owe me £2.40. Worth a quick phone call i think :-)

Anyway I printed off the voucher £42.18 thank you very much (and all 100% legal and above board so extra nice) - for anybody that hasnt seen a voucher yet, "instructions for use" typed on it are:
To redeem this voucher present this to your checkout operator, or to your delivery driver for an online grocery shop.
There are also terms and conditions printed. Im not going to type them all out but the main points are: recipient only, 1 per transaction, only be used once, use in 28days,must be accompanied by original receipt or delivery note, purchase must be higher value than the voucher.

There isnt a code or anything on it to input at the online checkout which i am surprised about. On the bottom of the voucher, is printed the receipt number and the postcode. For in store purchases, i guess the postcode wont be there??.

There is conflicting info. On the tesco t+c page, (link) it says:
"20. Where the original purchase was made in store, vouchers can be redeemed in any Tesco store. Where the original purchase was made online, the voucher can only be redeemed for online grocery purchases."

But... I did my shop online and on the actual voucher received it clearly says that I can redeem it in store. (That's a relief, cos ive some other vouchers to use up which i cant use online lol :-)

Is it worth checking here. I use this for certain items like Cravendale Milk to find out which store has offers on.

AMMat158: just so you know I got my reply in just less than 24 hours
    ----
More conflicting info:on the tesco pricecheck tv ad the tiny t+c that scroll across the bottom of the screen says "Comparisons include asda promotion", but then a couple of lines further on it says"excludes multi-buys, non matches, express and metro"
So they include promotions but not multibuys... !!!!!!?

the thing is, that tesco dont go off what mysupermarket say, so even if the item is comparable on mysupermarket, it might not be comparable according to tescopricecheck.com

both websites should in theory contain identical data, but we all know that they dont.
mmm, i wonder why that is ;)
