16/11 Y+Y show ended with brief report on the Netservice Biscit CSP war and promised to have follow up today 17/11. Show runs 12 - 1300 and is on Listen Again for 7 days.

Incidentally the reporter said they had received 3 emails. One was from me, one from a named fella and that leaves just one other. The more who paste their previous complaints to Y+Y (and Watchdog) the likelier that this fiasco will get the attention it deserves. Just Search the prog titles and you will find their contact details.

Oh...and the Y+Y reporter tried to contact Biscit for a comment....no one answered the phone nor any other communication mode. Isn't that a shock?

If I knew who or what Y + Y is I'd let them know my thoughts.

I was a V21 Customer for about 5 years, very happy with their service and support over the time. Fully understand where we're at with the BB stuff, I'm hoping to move over to Pipex once Netservices have cleared our line post 24/11. Not happy with Netservices bully tactics with Ezeedsl, not happy that this is an OFCOM loophole (filled in complaint for already, about to phone just for the rant).

On a similar theme - I can't find any info on the V21 Freetalk service and how it's tied up in all this mess. Would this just be bundled with the BB? Am intending to transfer the BB and phone calls to Pipex.

Titled the post You + Yours; did my best for any readers out there. Watchdog written in full. Perhaps I should do all your complaining for you.

Well you're doing such a sterling job, and we're all obviously much too busy, then maybe you should. If you'd titled your post BBCR4 then maybe I'd have twigged - working for a large corporation, it really gets to me that everything becomes abbreviations, acronyms and initialisms.
I've never listened to R4 (BBC Radio 4;) ) in my life, maybe it's because I'm under 45 or just working class:D

Yes, us end users have been treated badly, but no-one has actually done anything wrong - save perhaps OFCOM in their lack of action in this area.

I can't be arsed complaining any more - I'm just hoping I can transfer to Pipex without any drama.
  • I have emailed You and yours.

Dial up is sloooooow can't wait to get my broadband sorted out, its driving me mad!
  • I have been trying to get to the bottom of this all morning. Finally rang an old number for Fast4.net. They are still in operation and are trying to contact old customers. I did a quick dial up set up for 7.99 and hence I am doing this note now. They will come back to me on the 25th Nov when line is cleared by BT and reconnect me for not much less than I was paying before. Note: Net Services took a d/debit payment off me this morning. £15.00 down the drain. Cancel any S/O or D/Ds you may have NOW!!!!!!! The old number I called to Fast4 is 0870 225 1055 Chap called Mark.

I'm on the phone at the moment to ConsumerDirect.
I too have emailed You and yours, Watchdog, Ofcom. Might try the Advertising Standards agency next.
Meanwhile guys, this article makes for very interesting reading.

I wonder if there are any sympathetic local mps out there? Let's make them earn their doh!!!

Well thank you consumerdirect for passing the buck once again. They're telling me to go to Ofcom because apparently Trading Standards deal with criminal actions and this is not a criminal action!!!!
All I can say is "!!!!!! Turpin wore a mask"!!! *silent screams*

*welcome to the internet......where no one can hear you screammmmmmmmmmm!!!*

Hi, I've just written to IT week to raise the issue with them as I found an article where they discuss the pros and cons of "cheap" broadband provision.
Their general email address for editorial comment is:

    itweek_letters@vnu.co.uk

    :-)
