Are you in financial hardship ? If not in severe hardship then claims are on hold and there isnt much you can do until the test case is resolved.LegalBeagles0

No they didnt send a I&E form, and would not qualify for harship case. I thought there was another letter I needed to send after getting a list of charges.DMP Mutual Support Thread No 278

I contacted Nationwide regarding my account and they have sent a reply which I have received containing a statement with all the last 6 years charges on the accounts which totals just shy of £4000. In the statement they have included interest charges, now when it comes to claiming back my money can I then add interest charges on top of all of this for each individual payment.
Could somebody please guide me what to do now? I have set up a new account with another bank so I'm not worried about losing my Nationwide account.0 -
Hi. I have a Nationwide account. I had no overdraft facility but they honoured a direct debit, then charged me for it. Since then I have left the account unused but every month they send me a statement telling me they've charged me another load of money for having an unauthorised overdraft. The balance is now over £200 overdrawn, all because they decided to pay a direct debit, charge me for it, then continue to charge me because of this.
Can I claim any of that back? I know we can reclaim charges for returned s/o and d/d but what about general overdraft charges?
Instead of spending so much time getting charges refunded. It would've made more sense to manage your finances properly in the first place!
