It seems to have been a bit of a slow money making day really for me. Not for want of trying. As it was nice though, i did spend time outside gardening and then reading my book.
    • op -45p
    • pc - £3 paid into paypal
    • did a yougov prize draw survey
    • planted some cucumbers and tomato seedlings on, tried some lettuces outside but i bet they get boiled by the sun and slugged to death. Started off some new lettuces and purple sprouting broccoli from seed.
    • done some reading/rating on DY, got back up to £13.34, so slow progress. I'm aiming for at least £20 by the month end.
  • Not that much for me this week
    • Managed to locate L*dl and A*di within walking distance of one of our offices so can top up shop there when Im working there rather than the lure of the high st!
    • 2.99 innocent voucher recieved
    • £5 prezzibox voucher with tcb spent so another pressie added to the box
    • Bought some things I needed anyway with free £15 amazon voucher from lovefilm trial and also using £10 off code and the sale total £46 for about £150 of stuff if Id bought at full high st price! yay!
    • been to work
    • 4 day week so should mean I dont need to top up on petrol till next week!
    • pack lunches and dinners from freezer/cupboards
    • also I got an invite for some tesco panel thing shoppers thoughts (I think!) anyone used this/what is it? assume I get it through clubcard but will have a proper read to see if its worth doing!
  • Didnt do alot yesterday unfortunately - must try harder :o
    • Batch cooked dinners for the next 4 days
    • Did 3 surveys with MySurvey - got screened out on two but managed to do one small one.
    • O/P £12.

I've been doing shopper thought for about a year. Some months I hear nothing and then other months I get 1 or 2. I think I've only ever got screened out once (because I'd said I'd not read their free mag). They can sometimes be a bit lengthy but you get 100 or 150 clubcards points a time which I think is quite good.

Went to local dump yesturday with hubby to get rid of all our rubbish and whilst there, I found a huge mirror for £5 and coffee table for £2. Absolutely chuffed cos I wanted these items and was waiting for a bargain moment :D.

Also yesturday , a postal van parked outside our house blocking us in our drive (before we went to the dump) and we waited 20 mins
before we phoned to report it. They said they would get the van moved in 10 mins and as a appology they are sending me a book of 1st class stamps in the post .

not much else going on today apart from surveys but hope to pay £2000 off the mortgage next month :j.

    Super organised today:

Washing machine switched on first thing this morning after being filled and primed last night - don't like to leave have WM on when we are asleep. Washing now on the line.

Pack-ups made last night ready to grab and go this morning.

Tesco shop this afternoon - Joints of Beef half price and apparently sides of salmon also half price. I buy these and cut into slices myself , then freeze.

Fish and chips for tea as we have a busy evening. I can't decide whether to cook my own chips whilst DH gets the fish and mushies, or have just one portion of chips to share!?! Chips are 90p a portion:eek:

I have been awake since the early hours so have made a (mental) meal plan for the Bank Hol weekend - but I'm tired now and can't remember what I decided on!

    Sx

    * Flash 75p Cashback at Quidco

    * Requested Free GiffGaff Simcard via Quidco, £1 Cashback

*Tried for a NewVista Survey but got screened out :(

    *Charging phone at work

*Done a menu plan for the next few days as BF is staying at mine. Was planning to do a shop at Aldi Tomorrow although am tempted by the Tescos Beef Joint & Salmon (Thanks Spandles) and also have a voucher from them 'Spend £40, get £6 off' The only thing was I wasn't planning on spending £40 - suppose I could stock up on some things.......

    * Had a hissy fit at the petrol pump this AM as it's gone up another 2p at local stations just this morning. Am so annoyed at myself for not filling up last night on my way home - but it was gone 11pm and I needed the loo :rotfl:So have only put £12's worth in for next 2 days and then will see if I can get it any cheaper when we are out and about at the weekend

    * Did YouGov survey yesterday for prize draw

Well this week is going pretty well so far. :j

I've ordered a £10 Tesco voucher from Valued Opinions and just over £10 is coming to me from Topcashback. :T

That's my first pay-out from both, as I only joined them in January.

I've managed to spend very little this week, still been bringing in my lunches to work. :)

Looking forward to the long weekend. We've managed to book ourselves in for a meal at MIL's on Saturday and my mum's on Sunday. :D

    Hello all,

Returned from Paris Mon night, we had a fab time, saw all we hoped to and kept to our budget, even have 30 euros to change back so really pleased! I even splurged on a little summer dress in a shop near the Luxembourg gardens for the equivalent of £3.50 on their sale rail!

Today I did a survey on Pinecone, earned £4

Had several friends over yesterday for a games evening, only spent £1 for 3 bottles of sparking flavoured water, plus £1.50 for cakes of which there are plenty left to keep DH happy! So it was a cheap but enjoyable evening.

Tonight going out for a meal I bought ages ago on Groupon- £14 for 2 course meal plus glass of wine for both of us. Saves me cooking and washing up which is always a bonus! Plus it's a gastro pub with lovely garden overlooking the river, perfect fro today's weather :)

I want to menu plan from the freezer as it is full to the brim but I feel I haven't got a clue what's in there so am not making the most of our stocks.

I got Hotels.com to add 3 free nights credit to earn a free nights stay when we've stayed 10 nights, even though I hadn't joined the scheme when I booked the hotel stay.

I had a cheque from Music magpie just over £13 plus due an extra 10% from Quidco for it, plus cartridge recycling co confirmed they've got my parcel and will pay me £17.

Hope you're all well and enjoying the sun!
Yesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams :)
