There is a submit a query option from maximiles through your account, so no email address. I used it last month and someone got back to me within a couple of hours. Hope you can work it out. I think i did it from my points statement but i can't remember and can't find it now.

ETA - just had a look, and if i have my points statement open, there is a picture of a woman with a telephone handset and underneath it is the submit a query option.

    Hi all

Not much to add today, at work at the moment and it is soooo boring, nothing happening.

    * No pack up for DH today as he's off today (booooo).
    * Was going to have an M&S lunch, but was so early this morning, popped into Mr T's on the way in and got me a £2 meal deal - probabaly saved me about £1.50 in all.
    * Shopping from list later.

Hope everyone has a great Easter Break - prob won't be back on till Wednesday.

  • I was cleaning out the fridge earlier and found 6 apples in the bottom of the fruit drawer and was just about to put them in the compost bin...they were ok just a bit wrinkly.
I decided to peel and core them and make apple puree for DS...made 3 small pots.
I cannot believe how much fruit it takes to make a puree!

    Today:

Selected a lower spin cycle on the WM. 1400spm down to 800spm. Don,t think this will save me many ££'s though. The washing didn't feel much damper than the faster spin, and it's nice and dry on the line now anyway.

On that note I called up my energy supplier, Eon, and have requested their free Energy Saver pack (found on website) which contains a monitor. Normally 30 day delivery, but due to demand could be up to 90!!!!!

The best bit - getting a free smartphone (we'll say no more!) and going onto a £10 per month tariff. Just need to work out how to use it:o

9 consecutive NSDs except supermarket/food shopping:j Oh, and a swim party the girls went to - but I didn't have a coffee so saved £1.50.

I'm not aiming for MF because i think that might be a stretch too far whilst I have 4 little ones but I am going to aim to get at least 50% paid off my current house by the time I am 40, so 4 years to pay off £100k, what do you think ? £25k a year seems a huge amount of money I earn £13750 after tax and get various other bits of random income from different sources so providing I don't waste money I think it should be ok.
So how do you keep the faith ?

Whenever I feel a bit of a waver I look at one of the overpayment caluclators (I use the Egg one which you can google) and it shows me how much I will save if I stick to my OPing targets - ours mean that we will save around £43k, so its a big incentive :D

Glad to see everyone is still hard at it. I have not been that frugal lately went and did a MS where I would get £10 (fee and refund) and I spent £50 on new clothes for our holiday. Then spent an extra £5 on a MS meal today and the service was rubbish however the location was fab and a nice way to spend the afternoon on the habourside.

Don't forget to get your free hot cross buns if you buy the Daily Telegraph at M&S we do so will send DH off early.

  • Hi all

Thank you Froggy and Michelle, I found the enquiry bit this time when I searched (I felt like I'd spent hours doing this a previous time to no avail) so Ive posted that off with the hope of being able to claim £20 Mr A vouchers ASAP.

I have been motivated by frequent references to careful driving, to reduce my speed ( i am in no way a speed freak but have cut down a little further to the optimum 67mph) and have noticed a reduction in my petrol consumption, that has motivated me to continue.

My order came from Approved Food and I was mightily impressed with the savings made on a comparitively small amount of shopping. DH was pleased with the biscuits in particular, and despite a couple of items being past their 'Best Before' has been supportive of this new way of shopping.

Working nights so every day is a NSD for me, its just the amount DH spends that is the problem!!!

  • Just wanted to share with you all what my wonderful DH did for me this morning.
Whilst I was still asleep he laid a treasure hunt all round the house for me to follow looking for mini eggs, with a huge Easter egg at the end !
I was so excited. Cant believe its the first Easter egg hunt Ive ever done in all my 40 years !

We got up at 6.30am this morning and went to a car boot sale ,
    got some lovely stuff ,

    for DD ...
4 river island tops and a "NEW" pair of sandels, a pair of earrings and necklace and a toni and guy hair balm = £7 total.

for me .... a lovely necklace and pair of earrings = £1

Hubby got himself 3 cds and a tool that he wanted = £1.90

we worked out it would of all cost £190 if we went to the shops
so thats extra for the mortgage :T.

ordered some material to make my family tea towels for xmas,
    and making bread today.
    Kindness costs nothing :)
