This is a repeated post off my own thread but...
And yet more good news! I've been working alongside a developer of some software for my phone for some time over a bug in the way it accesses my data - he's a very decent chap and we've worked well together. Basically the data usage was huge when it should be small as all it does it pulls data off your bank and onto your phone in a 1 way handshake so you can check your details etc on your phone but not transfer etc. Ideal! However it was taking up more space of my megabyte allowance than it should. Today he kindly admitted there was an error and sent me an amazon voucher for £30 - not an insignificant amount and not something I was expecting, which is just great. Will use it to buy something useful, unusure what but certainly better than a punch in the mouth!Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

Had a NSweekend, except essential food purchases (sausages from my fav butcher in town).
Banked my £2 coins with Nationwide (£100). This is our Centreparcs spending money. As we have pre-booked/paid our tenpin bowling (£20) I asked to withdraw £80 in notes to keep the balance going. Anyway I got chatting with the cashier and when she had finished she handed back my card, receipt and £60! I said 'you mean £80?'. She replied 'oh yes' and got another £20 out. I was nearly hyper-ventilating with the thought of loosing £20!!!!!!!
Enjoyed a lovely Sunday tea with the above sausages, roast pots (I don't par-boil - just bung straight into the oven), roasted (manky) veg (wrinkley peppers, courgette, onions and tomatoes (with the furry bits cut off). Also roasted some parsnips that I have had at the bottom of the fridge for 2 weeks. They had started to sprout roots. Frozen peas and HM gravy. The funny thing is DH kept saying how much he had enjoyed the meal - if only he knew:rotfl:
Today:
Need to find something in the freezer to have with last nights (lovely) leftovers.
Will think about buying a new vacuum cleaner. My Dyson doesn't seem to be picking up the cottony bits anymore. It has had its fair share of repairs and replacements over the years and I thinks its time for retirment. MIL recently bought a Zanussi and I have enough clubcard points for Clubcard Exchange to get one too. Dysons are selling on Ebay as spares so thats something else to consider.

Not a flipping lot recently:-
* Boss gave me a bottle of wine on Friday
*MPG - has declined recently but this morning on way to work was very good
* Shopper Thoughts 150 points
* You Gov oracle survey on Friday which should generate some 'paying' ones
* Got all my banking paperwork uptodate / did some online jiggery pokery today to make sure everything was in the best place.
* Read my meters to ensure I get nectar points. They've not adjusted my payment though so need to try harder although gas usage has def gone down so this just must be increase in price of gas
* Free brekkie (Oat bar and Cappucino) and free lunch at work today
* My specs are looking at little worse for wear after 2 years of wearing them dawn til dusk. They currently retail at £125 in SS's. I found someone selling the same pair on ebay so bought them for £9.61 so that I can replace one of the arms and therefore they will hopefully last me a while longer as I don't need a new prescription at present. I do fancy a new pair though as I get a bit fed up of the same old face-furniture day in day out:rotfl:May treat myself in another few months as I have actually saved up the money already
* Something out of the freezer tonight, eating at friends tomorrow (taking free bottle of wine), eating at mums on Weds. But I am taking my mum shopping tonight DANGER DANGER DANGER
* My dad has kindly offered to give me a lift to eye hosp on Weds so I don't have to a) Get on the wrong bus home again b) get a taxi. Smashing
See, I didn't do too badly after all0 -
Having a huge clearout of my old video games (currently on a selling site to try and avoid fees, will be moved to Ebay shortly!) and sorted through all of our Tesco points and vouchers ready to use0

I recommend Asda opticians for glasses. I got some from there over a year ago and have just ordered some more from there after getting a new prescription. I am really short-sighted and managed to get a pair of glasses and sunglasses for about £100 altogether as they don't charge extra for thinned down lenses. :T I think at other opticians they used to charge me nearly £200 for the thin lenses alone! :eek:0 -
