All the small things - tell me what you have done to be MF today

I've had a disastrous MFW weekend
- Went out for dinner for wedding anniversary last night - quite expensive
- Spent lots on new work clothes today as the dresscode at new place is smarter than my last job (hopefully will be taking some of it back though - decided to just buy everything I liked without trying it on as I had DS with me, and he hates shopping)
- Found out that my brother's girlfriend is pregnant... Great news, but I don't really feel like I can sell DS's old clothes on eBay now that I have someone to give them to :rotfl:
- Wrote a Dooyoo review yesterday - only a 100 pointer though
- Did a little bit of Toluna
- Ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at my parents' house today

Had a break from doing jobs this morning so we all went for a little drive to a nearby village and had a wander round. But once I got back I did the following:
- Made a start on the garden
- Sold £5.59 to Music Magpie
- Pulled out some bits ready to ebay (waiting on OH for ebay login details)
I still need to cash some cheques in and pay some loose cash in
Mortgage free - 01/05/2019, mortgage high £200k 20110 -
I left Toluna today as most surveys wouldn't let me complete them and it was taking me way too long to get the thousands of points needed whereas before it was better when they had Paypal rewards
Anyway - Donated my 9,000 points to the Japan relief before I left so glad I get to do something good with the points I did have..0 -
This weekend / Today I have:
* £2 in penguin pot
* shopped to mealplan list
* brought lunch to work today
On the downside:
* Got to pay £100 excess on car insurance later in the week as I was hit by a hit and run driver, but will hopefully get this back at some point.
* DH's birthday at the beginning of next week, so presents and meal to sort out (not really a downside as have money put by for this).Mortgage Free x 1 03.11.2012 - House rented out Feb 2016
Mortgage No 2: £82, 595.61 (31.08.2019)
OP's to Date £8500
Renovation Fund:£511.39;
Nectar Points Balance: approx £30 (31.08.2019)0 -
Today I have:
- written meal plan for the week using mainly freezer and cupboard stores
- done available Toluna surveys/sponsored polls
- earned £1.69 on mortgage savings this month (extra i.e. not regular overpayments are paid into my savings account as they earn more money there than they would save me if I paid straight to mortgage)
- £1.05 on pure profile surveys
- Won £10 High Street Voucher from Royal Mail surveys daily prize draw - this wioll be used for xmas/birthday presents
- £1 from Opinion Bar survey
- applied for free sample of Herbal Essence shampoo and conditioner
Not a lot today, but it all helps!!

Not up to much so far today.
Read the gas/elec/water meters, which are all dropping a bit as you'd expect for the time of year. I would turn the heating off, but the kids and myself are still full of cold, and it isn't on that much. I don't want anyone getting more ill than we are.
I've also written a 60p review on DY and hit £35. Can i do another £15 in 10 days? Dunno but i will keep trying.
Kids are quite happy today playing in a den under the dining table. Small cheap things are the best.
I just wish i could get back onto onepoll properly. I managed to log onto the new site, and it said my balance was £40.90, which is strange. I am wondering if they will need my £40 redeem request sending back in? Who knows. The site is not stable yet anyway, so i will leave for now. I don't know why companies have to mess with websites when they work perfectly well.0 -
Just a quick one from me...1poll. OH reached payout last week when we logged on it today it said the same even though he has claimed it. We just put the details in again and it cleared the £40.00. I thought the same about 1 poll, if it ain't broke!I can't be bothered updating this anymore0

I was wondering whether to do that. I claimed last Tuesday so it should be well in the system by now. Who knows. I'm glad i am not alone with the problem. Would be my first redeem with them too wouldn't it.0

* Filled car with Petrol in BF's town which is 3p cheaper than my town!

*Menu plan for this week using vegetables stolen from BF and freezer items. No more freezer food after this week........will have to cook
*Am now off home for 'Freezer Surprise'! and will also read meters thanks to cha97michelle's prompt - if I read them regularly it helps ensure that I get my Nectar/B Gas points every year.
