I'm having a bit of a dooyoo push today as i want to aim for another cheque from them.
Summerday - good money saving sorting your wardrobe, as you will not waste money buying new stuff now you know what you have. I try to be organised but rarely manage for long. You could post a piccie of your frame on here if you want to show us. Load it to a host site, like facebook, or photobucket. At the top of the box you type in when posting there is an insert image link (looks like mountains on a yellow background.) It opens up a box that you add the hyperlink to your picture. If i add one from FB, i then click on the image in the post before posting, and remove the hyperlink by clicking on the icon at the top that looks like a chain with a red cross through it.(People can't then look at your FB account. )
If my instructions make sense it would be nice to see it.0 -
I love this thread!
Yesterday:
Washing on line to dry
HM meals including Sat night curry (Keema Matar - lamb with peas) with rice, chutney and naans
Listed a load of old CDs on Music Magpie - only 30p each, but I never listen to them any more, and that will be £6 something I wouldn't have, and less clutter :T
Listed 2 DVDs on ebay, not sure if they will sell, but it is free listing this weekend.
Took a large bag of decluttered clothes to charity shop (not MFW, but decluttering in preparation for moving later this year)
Today:
Washing on line to dry
New herbs from garden centre using gift token I have had in my bag for ages. Also managed to pick up a cardboard box just the right size for posting DGD's birthday present from the stack left for customers to take.
Sowed some tomato seeds and cut and come again lettuce.
Potted up new herbs in large containers on patio and got rid of old, dead plants. Also repotted those old ones that had survived the winter.
HM meals again - pot roast pheasant (from freezer) and apple crumble tonight :T0 -
Today:
Only bought at the supermarket what was needed according to our meal plan for the week. As a bonus, a lot of the things we needed were also on special :rotfl:
Yesterday:
Ordered oil filter, air filter etc to service my car. In itself this is money saving, but I also used topcashback to get money back from Halfords and used my Nectar credit card to get nectar points (which I will pay off in full)!!0 -
Haven't been updating for a couple of days, but here goes:
- some fantastic Toluna surveys especially today - did 3 for 17k points..hope they hurry up and add them. Only 20p on OP
- I am doing a blog on another site which will earn £5
- signed up for a couple of test products
- bloke at work brought in a load of cosmetics / lotions he is selling on behalf of his work's company - I didn't buy any, but got a handful of trial sample sachets
- Mr T shopping on Friday had nearly £17 in BOGOFs and I used £7.50 in coupons I collected. I have tried the Tesco / Asda pricechecker thing, but never seem to do so well with these. I should read up more on the forum on here to get some tips

I would have had a NSD, except that I added some items to an internet grocery order that is being delivered tomorrow. Not sure if it counts or not!!
The gentleman who fell of the ladder on Tuesday paid me a visit to let me know he is OK, and he also took me for a drink at the pub, which was nice of him. I am so relieved he is still alive and kicking!
I tidied up the garden and put lots of stuff in my new garage. Hooray!!!!!
We're still getting frosts here, so I decided not to plant any seeds yet. I did plant out some pots that I had overwintered, so hopefully they will survive and be happy.
