Have changed energy tariff with the same supplier for a significant saving.
Bought blue roll for cleaning up puppy accidents from the bay - way cheaper than kitchen roll.
Have been eating from cupboard/freezer more with fresh fruit and veg top ups.
I have been unsubscribing from lots of email lists so that I am not tempted by offers arriving - I just can't stop myself clicking through to take a look.
I have started ordering Friday night curry via T$B just eat so we get 3% back as we would be doing it anyway.
DD has needed a few school uniform items so ordered them from M&S via T$B to be delivered to local food store so that I don't have to go to town and pay for parking or get sucked into buying other stuff.

    Over the last few days I;

Finished the month just under budget in the first month of properly allocating money for groceries. Not done this before but found it useful so we are going to continue to put £130 away at the beginning of the month in a tin for food and cleaning stuff.

Used last Thursdays £5 off at Aldi voucher from the Daily Mirror

Made a big chicken soup from carcass to last a few meals.

Used a 7p off a litre till spit at Sainsburys. Will OP the £1.69 I saved :)

£3 P1n3c0ne in paypal, will OP.

Due about £6 from Viewsbank, will OP.

Looked on Youtube as to why the loo wasn't flushing properly and fixed it ourselves, saving on a plumber.

Took some more berries out of the freezer for more home made wine. Bottled about 45 bottles so far lol

    Think thats it.

Does anyone else have a hot water cylinder?

For my small thing yesterday I lessened the time that the hot water was on in the morning. I have reduced it to half an hour before we wake up (it was an hour) and we still both had hot showers with no problem!

I have also reduced the amount of time its on for in the evening

Today I've made soup with reduced price veggies and some previously frozen too-soft-for-sarnies tomatoes (and the last of the HG tomatoes)

Put the coppers I found on the floor in my mortgage pig

Priced up a load of stuff for hopefully selling at a Nearly new sale :)

Dried 3 loads of washing on the line

got some clothes from the attic outgrown by DS1 and now they're in DS2's wardrobe :)

Put an item of clothing I no longer wear and which isn't ebay-able ready in the garage for the next time I go to cash for clothes (I still donate stuff to the local charity shop, just not my clothes nowadays)
