Is your mortgage cashback because you have a santander mortgage and a 123 account?

Yes that's right. I find them irritating to deal with but can live with it for 3% interest plus cash back. :p

Heating still off.... Actually feeling chillier now. Small is in a fleece onesie and is very pleased with it. She wants to wear it to pre school tomorrow!

Pumped up car tyres for more eco driving

Not even thinking about heating yet as new A rated windows and doors are brilliant at keeping cold out.

New wireless printer paid for with Amazon vouchers also from surveys/Amazon cashback credit card.

    Free tomatoes from garden.

Lots of batch cooking of soups and broths portioned and frozen.

  • Cooker still out of action here so making use of slow cooker....treat of lamb hotpot with port and cranberries after store cupboard gingered chickpeas for yesterday...leftovers in freezer..

Got ourselves some free land to use as an allotment so getting it ready for home-grown veg next year ~ took advantage of the seed offer on the MSE email too.

Put up door curtain in our hallway...everyone on here says how good they are so wait to see...old Victorian terrace is rather cold so hope that and resealing all our windows helps until we get the outside walls insulated.
  • Love our new door curtain mrsscattercushion, it's really made a difference in the hallway. Hope that you like yours too.
