    This weekend;

    We went to watch the new Alan Partridge film. I think he's hilarious lol. Anyway, we were given 2 x 2 for 1 tokens so that will be 2 cheapish nights out in the next couple of months. Parked a bit further away for free and put change for car park in our whisky jar :)

    We are in the middle of laying a new patio to make the house more attractive when we come to trade up. Paid for materials on my Amazon Mastercard for the points. Sadly the triple points have now ended but managed to get about £130 in vouchers which will go towards Chr*stm*s shopping.

    Used 1 teabag for 2 cups.

    Top up shop in Aldi which should be good for a couple of weeks, £30

    EDF, who we switched to last autumn have reduced gas and leccy by £17 a month since we sent the last reading. Tempted to move this extra £17 to the mortgage but we are recarpetting throughout at some point before winter so will leave it to build in the bills account for now. Plan is for carpet money to come from surplus in that account and not 'real' money IYSWIM.

    I've saved £3 this week by driving a different way to work and avoiding a toll bridge (it's the same distance but takes longer as minor road).

    And I bought friend's little boy's Christmas present yesterday off a local selling page. Toy till for £5 (rrp £18 and in perfect condition).
    :money:
    Sealed Pot Challenge - No. 117
    Bank of Mum & Dad - £3150/£10,000 (£6850 to go) Bank of In Laws - £4600/£12,000 (£7400 to go)

    Bought the kids school uniform with Tesco boost vouchers.

    Meal planned for the last few weeks, using up as much as poss from the cupboards and freezer.

    Made use of the local parks and skate parks to keep the kids amused, no need for expensive excursions.
