    Not much from me today:

I've put the drying on the maiden to dry off a little overnight before putting it in the dryer , therefore decreasing drying time. I wish it was sunny!

Made do with what we had in the cupboards so we didnt pop out for anything and end up spending X amount. Shopping day planned tomorrow for the big shop.

    a quiet day really
I can't be bothered updating this anymore
  • Well done Iris
Motivated me to keep posting on here as its the little daily things that all add up! ;)

So far over the weekend ...
NSD today (got up shockingly late but shhhhh :rotfl:)
Have eaten out of the cupboards/freezer all weekend including a nice bottle of vino!
Sold a CD on amazon-all ready to post this week!
Sewn up a pair of trousers and 2 jumpers that have been sitting in the "I'll get around to that one day" pile for hmmm...probably almost 9 months!

That's all really but not too bad!

*Checked gas & elec deals seems we are still on best tariff for us. :)
    *Refused to put heating on
    * Worked an extra overtime shift :)

    It all helps!

Made a big pot of homemade leek and potato soup and I froze the extra portions.:)

Washed my shower curtain in the bath and then ran downstairs to put it out to dry with water dripping everywhere. Free exercise.:p

My weekly groceries were delivered but apart from that it is going to be a no spend day.

Mystery shop booked for Fridays, so that's £10.00 off to the Halifax.

Visited the charity shops today- walked so no petrol. Brought myself a nice Next top for 3.00 :) although it's not exactly money saving I'm running low on clothes and we have a family holiday in July, so trying to buy some basics for far less money than going to the shops.

    *Ate lunch from freezer.
    * Will have evening meal at work for free :D
*Working a late shift then a sleep tonight so will save on petrol getting to work as I will already be there!

Made my first mortgage overpayment ever: £45.

Unfortunately, didn't bring lunch to work, which is high on my priority list for things to change. Also high up on the list are reducing my food expenditure - groceries and eating out.

Have just found this thread, what a great topic. My tuppence worth: ordered €60 worth of Argos vouchers from S&S, I like to let it build up so it shows me just how much it's worth doing. Will put them with the €50 I redeemed before xmas (couldn't use them at the time, cos they weren't activated, have the emails sent to S&S from Argos business section, so prepared to stay as long as it takes until they're redeemed this time!) This will get the main xmas present for DS2 this year (beats inear headphones, €99) for free :j

You are very much paying for the brand name with beats headphones. You can get better sounding audio for a lot less money with a brand like sennheiser or scosche.

Check out the Scosche IDR655 for example
