    Hi, Everyone

I'm making myself stay in the office this gorgeous sunny afternoon as if I go for a walk, I won't come back, and that'll be me...sacked :rotfl:

    This week, I have -

Saved my interest payments from various savings accounts

My car's average MPG is now 63.5 :T, but I'm still aiming higher. I drove 20 miles to work this morning, but the computer tells me I only actually used 1 miles worth of diesel i.e. there were 534 miles to an empty tank when I set off, but 533 miles to an empty tank when I arrived. Smashing! :T

I need a bit of a stock up shop so will use Mr M's on Sunday and nab a 12p off each litre of diesel, then wait until I coast into the petrol station on fumes later next week to maximise the use of this voucher before it expires on 03/06. :T

I'm not shopping until Sunday so I don't add any more to my credit card for this month, (my card cut off date for this month is Saturday), and this means I can overpay MUCH more than expected this month as I don't have to pay much off my credit card.:T:T:T

    What else? hmmmm....

Oh, yes, am liberating 2 x £10 H/Base vouchers from Sh0p & Scan, and My Survey as I want a cheapy BBQ, but am not prepared to pay "real" money for it. :T

Finally, the weather is going to be good enough to repaint my garden fences at the weekend, so the paint I bought at Easter (!) with survey vouchers, that has languished and become part of the furniture in my porch, will finally be used. Also, I've booked Friday off work to do this, so will have an unexpected no diesel day too. :T

Will hunt for a reasonable interest on a new savings account at the weekend to pop my overspill ISA money into (overspill because for the first time ever, I have saved more than the ISA allowance...wow! :T

As usual, I've been doing the usual -

Make own lunches, and all other meals
    charging phone at work
doing surveys and Sh0p & Scan

I am also considering the following -

Training oldest puss to infiltrate neighbours' houses and steal food to bring back for me. He's half way there already...just the last part to go...:rotfl:

Youngest puss is a dead loss on this. However, he does bring me back things I can't/don't want to eat, so maybe a redirection of his wee effort can be achieved? :rotfl:

    Lots of :T & :rotfl: from me...must be summer!:rotfl::T:rotfl:

    LB xx

Sounds like you are doing a sterling job Lavender! :)

What do folk think of survey sites? Which ones pay out quickly for minimum effort? I'm thinking of signing up to some and happy to be referred via PM if you want.

I like them - particularly Valued Opinions as payout only £10 and regular surveys. If you prefer short ones (couple of mins) then OnePoll is good although pay threshold is £40 and you have to refresh regularly to catch them. Toluna has regular surveys but again high redemption rate. depends how often you would do them as to how many it is worth signing up with.

PM me your email address if you want to join and can refer you :)

Wow! Everyone is doing really well with surveys, I have totally lapsed on them must get back doing it.

Have been going to our local Mr S in the evenings trying to work out the best time for the reduced bit & it seems to change time every day! So we went this eve and everything we got was on offer, so I then couldn't bear to buy full priced fanta so I bought the Mr S version at 43p cheaper... It's not the same :(. Guess I will have to learn to like it but that's 43p we can overpay my DH reminded me :).

Hope everyone has a lovely evening

    Well done Ammonite :T

    - ordered £10 from VO this afternoon
    - had a few more people use my invites from SP
    - had my tesc0 clubcard vouchers through - must book some more free blockbuster vouchers and meals out
    - lunches took in all week
    - had a few £ off Onepoll the last few days - if you can check it every couple of hours then i think you can build up your payout quite quickly:D
    - free sanitary wear from a trial company
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Thanks Shala! Well done to you to!
I am tempted to keep going for another £10 or £20. It is a long way back down to £0 on DooYoo! I might get up to £70, cash out £20 and start again from £50 which means I can always redeem if that makes sense?
