Husband's work were throwing out 6x4 photo paper that they got free and haven't used for years, they said husband could take it home or it was being binned, literally got about £300 worth of photo paper there :j so chuffed!

Also whilst clearing out found 3 ink cartridges for the printer somewhere I didn't think they lived, so "saved" around £30 as I don't have to buy those colours now :)

Nearly up to £10 on doo yoo - aiming for £50 for the cash again.

Having a huge clear out this week so will be eBaying mad. Being quite ruthless, if I haven't used it for a while, it is going. Found a few gems so hoping for around £100 as a base target in the next few weeks on eBay.

Used £10 voucher in Debenhams so got a MAC eyeshadow for £2 :T very MSE

    Afternoon all,

I never find money in the street! even with my glasses on, will look harder

    x

I tend to find lots of small change where I live. I think it is from the kids at the local secondary school. They definitely don't understand the value of money! shocking. My children have been taught to pick it all up and stick it in the 'mortgage pig' to put towards our mortgage overpayments.

Been trying to overpay our mortgage for past couple of years and have now shortened the length of it by 4 years and hoping to do more, so this is a great thread to look at small ways of saving for it.

Will add some of my regular ways of saving for you as I do them. x
