    HI everyone.

Did (half) a car boot on Sunday before we got rained out when the heavens opened! Broke a couple of things throwing everything back in the car as fast as we could and some items ended up water damaged, but never mind we didn't half laugh when we sat there dripping in the car, all steamed up and couldn't see a thing out of the window for stuff and torrential rain bouncing off the ground. But we made £30 after paying to get in.

Managed to persuade the hubby that if he bought a men's hair trimming set I could cut his hair properly (and I did). So for £9.99 I can now cut his hair whenever he wants it and it is saving £7 (every 4-6 weeks), wish he had let me try 20 years ago, could have saved a fortune!

Also we are booked in with the Halifax on Saturday to move our current account and click the £100 (to put towards the badly leaking garage roof which needs repairing). Then to get the £5 a month after that. Yeah!

That's all for now folks. x

Apart from the usual charging phone, packed lunch and other MSE things, over the last weekend I have
    • batch-cooked for a full week ahead and packed them away (this time with proper labelling) in the freezer.
    • made hay while the sun shone (washed and line-dried all the bedlinen).
    • timed it right for the supermarket YS goodies and used a couple of vouchers and giftcards.
    • listed my treasures on fleabay and there are bids totalling £15 now, though they are scheduled to end after 3 more days.
    • Wombled a MrT receipt for 78 points and got them added to my kitty.
    • Stocked up on the PGTips jubilee tin from MrS - will nicely go into some gifts for my relatives.
    • Reminded DS1 of the now-forgotten hair trimmer and he sportingly trimmed his hair at home saving £7. However, DS2 refused to be reeled in.

    *today and yesterday=no spend days
*husband made a giant shepards pie last night which will do us for lunch and dinners til tomorrow (intend to get on board with batch cooking/freezing some time soon.....
