Today's small things:
- Turned on the washing machine before the day rate kicks in and put out the washing to dry outside.
- Did a Nect*r survey for 60 points, VO for £1.50 and OP for 70p
- Fiscal fast - Day 2
- Friend gave me a £5 voucher for T*sc* which will go nicely with the CC mailings this weekend.
- Was given a tub of icecream on my way to the bank, which I have shared with my colleagues - saved from putting on too much weight.

Over the past couple of days;
* Off work so not using petrol as walking everywhere,
* Redeemed £14.42 from Topcashback,
* Listed a few things on ebay,
* £3 from Pureprofile, nearly at cashout level on this site now,
* £3 P!nec0ne hasn't appeared on Paypal so have chased this up,
* Redeemed $10 from Superpoints,
* Found 2p on the path, put it in coin jar, :rotfl:
* Been making food stretch more, batch cooking, using up leftovers, bit of baking,
* Buying the large milks from local newsagents rather than supermarket as it's always £1,
* Not long set up an account linked to my current account specifically for car expenses (MOT, service, insurance & tax) which I put £50 a month into. Was able to take MOT and tax money out of this rather than current account. Found a garage doing MOT's for £25 (it passed too) and tax is only £20 a year as i drive a small car. Would have had to pay out of current account in the past but I like the idea of having the money ready in a diff account,
* Tomorrow I am going to wash and valet the car, not paying someone else to wash it,
* Bought another Xmas present to put in present box off the grabbit board http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_157014901399_-1?breadcrumb=Home~Sale#39 - Save £12k in 20250 -
That's an excellent saving on the gift set, linz. Also like the idea of having a separate account for car expenses :T
Small things for me ~

* Used 5p off a litre of petrol at Tesc0 ~ saved £1.50
* Have the 12p off a litre of petrol at M0rrisons to use for the big car
* Nectar 'spin to win' ~ won diddly squit so far but keep trying
* OP & VO surveys ~ missed out on loads because internet crashed for a week
* Returned dress & re-ordered same one as it went in the sale a couple of days after I bought it ~ saved £11 & went through Nectar this time to get triple points'A watched potato will never chit'...0 -

Afternoon all,
I bought my own lunch in today and charged my ipod at work, also hung washing out overnight instead of bunging it in the TD.
Made the June overpayment on my mortgage, didnt realise it wasnt June until midday today!
I really should include visiting this thread every day as it gives me a reminder to do the small things.
I never find money in the street! even with my glasses on, will look harder

Currently overpay by £200 pm. I have set an additional SO up so if I have a good month can overpay a bit more. I am trying to move all my insurance policies/ vehicle tax to annual payments rather than monthly as it works out cheaper to pay up front. To budget for this I've set up an annual bill account which I pay £50-100 per month into so i can cover the annual bills as they come in.from next year I think I will see a saving of 5-10% on my insurance bills0
