Thanks dipashah - i've updated my Toluna surveys.. back up to 10k points since last week now..
Had a little issue with Tesco y'day - my shopping was delivered covered in someone else's washing liquid so i had a refund on the damaged items. Rang customer services, had a bit of a moan and they have also refunded the delivery charge and given me an extra £10 voucher too! :j
Also had an issue with Next - i've had to contact customer services 4 times in the last two days. Instead of ringing their 0844 number i've requested a call back through the website, not sure how much i saved but it's better in my pocket than the phone company!
And finally, back to work tomorrow so i'll be able to charge my phone for free again:rotfl:Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Just reduced my Gas and Electricity Direct debit by £18 a month as we were building up about that much in credit every month!
Do you guys pay the same all year around? Building up credit in the summer and using it up during the winter?Mortgage Free 22/03/17

JimLad - I pay by cash quaterly right away to get the early payment credit for gas and Electric. My gas bill is low as I am tight and have open fires. Well for the low DD amount.

Morning all
Quick round up of a few things here
DH has been working away so came home with all the hotel smellies (nice ones, too!)/ coffee/ tea/ hot choc/ sugarAway again tonight, so hopefully a few more tomorrow
More items sold on ebay and a few at WI - effectively being paid to declutter
Chased post trial questionnaire of a Litmus survey thing (never received) - they are sending me the Boots vouchers anyway
Sorted out present / card stash under bed as a start to Xmas - on s/sht and will ensure no duplications. Stuff which I won't use for presents I will attempt to sell at WI next month
JimLad - our supplier reviews DD payment every 6 months, so we pay less in the Summer months anyway. Gives us the DD discount without building up large credit balancesI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -
I feel as if I have fallen off the track for the past few days not having done anything worthwhile mentioning here.
- Just 1 thing sold on fleabay - made £10. There have been umpteen number of watchers for my other auctions, but no bids forthcoming.
- Took advantage of the M&S glitch yesterday to order lingerie for 80p - broke my fiscal fast, but who cares when you can get 4 pairs of underwear for a few pence each.
- Wombled two 5p off petrol tillspits when I was at MrT collecting something which I ordered last week - projected saving of £3 each for the next 2 fillings.

Hi,
Quick update from me - have been very good with NSDs and I'm not doing any grocery shopping/using the car at all this weeked. I'm planning a complete NSW/End :T
Just one new thing from me in amongst all the other normal (perhaps not so normal??) stuff I do - the Office of National Statistics interview me every 2 years about financial stuff. Seems I'm representative of the nation (can you imagine! :rotfl:), so I do my bit for Blighty, and tomorrow is my interview and in return I get a £10 High Street voucher :T
Mind you, given that the High Street is disappearing, and prices keep rising, am not sure it's worth much these days.
Enjoy your weekends everyone
