* halifax reward swish
* added a CS item to my pressie stash
* topped up fuel whilst at Mr M
* sent texts rather than calling as run out of inclusive minutes
* got grocery deals at Mr S and Mr M, after checking mysupermarket to see what to get on my trip to MrS.
* did some online comping
* swapped my library books (keeps me entertained without spending money on books)Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
Over the last few days, the following have gone into the OP pot:
- Halifax reward £5
- Amazon CC reward of £10 (It is actually an Amazon voucher - so equivalent quids into the OP pot)
- sold 3 books and got £9 @ GM
- My niece's birthday is in May, so sounded her out about a birthday gift and she has mentioned Kermit backpack. So, I have registered and added the 9 free codes for the Cravendale backpack. Also, bought 2x2L milk at Sains for £2.50. Another 9 more codes to go and I get a free gift.Mortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74

Hello all,
Found this thread after a mention on the 2012 MFW thread, what a good idea
This weekend I planted some lettuce seeds and ordered some free tomato seeds
Booked Mr Rct's car hire for when he goes to see his family in NI through Topcashback. Shame Easyjet are not on there!

Hello
I registered on a car share website today then bottled out cos I'm really not comfy with sharing my car with a stranger who's a passenger. Although it would save me about 125 miles worth of fuel every week i deleted my account on there.
Has anyone here got experience of using these kinda websites?0 -
I registered with one about 3 years ago. It was a long shot - I live in one random area of greater Manchester, get straight on the motorway and go to another on the other side of Manchester where there are very few employers. To do my contracted hours I need I leave my area before 8am and return at 6pm. In rush hour it takes almost an hour. But I thought I would try it.
Have only ever had one enquiry - they wanted me to pick them up from their home (5/6 miles in a completely different direction) and they worked part time - very different start and finish. I politely replied, twice, and ignored the 3rd request from them. I thought that I might have to be a little flexible but not run a freaking bus service!
Anyway it's a good idea in theory - if you do find someone then make sure your family / friends know their details0 -
unhappyshopper, I replied to your PM but had some browser problems sending it.
I think it went OK but if not let me know. I have saved the labels.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
Not done much MSE this weekend. Seemed to spend a lot on food and yet there isn't a lot in the fridge to show for it and today we mostly ate out of freezer.....Used a money off voucher at least.
We used NT membership for an afternoon out in the fresh air and sunshine but I'd forgotten to put my boots in the car :mad: so it was a bit of a pathetic effort
We went looking at garden furniture at B&Q - we are going to buy but are going to try and wait for special offer - but I earned a 20p Quidco checkin.....and that's about as good as it got all weekend0 -
Yesterday I was lucky to get a few YS bargains from M&S (lean beef mince, pita, tortilla wraps, crumpets, ham, sliced cooked chicken, cheese and veg. soup) and paid for them with reward vouchers. Another £5.50 to OP pot :-)Mortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74

Hello
*Free lunch today courtesy of work
*Charging my mobile
*1st working day of month so did my internet banking and checked all bills went out okay and money in accounts to cover immediate expenditure
*Did a YouGov survey whilst I was still in bed this morning!
*Did my Halifax jiggery pokery to get next months Reward payments (although this months hasn't gone in yet)
*Next am going to menu plan this week. I spent £39.34 on food between 28/03 - 01/04 and apart from some Salad Items and yoghurts there is NOTHING in my fridge. I'm determined not to go food shopping before the easter break so if it's not in my cupboard or freezer.....it's tough....I'm not eating.0
