I phoned my Mobile Phone provider yesterday asking them if I could get a better deal on my Sim-Only Plan, unfortunatley they said I couldn't, without incresing my monthly cost - which I didn't want to do, so just accepted this.

Then they phoned me today as I am a 'loyal customer' and gave me an additional 100 texts a month and 200 minutes - for free :). They must have thought I was going to jump ship!

Also, phoned my Car Breakdown Cover provider as I did an online quote on their website (just out of interest to see how much it costs new memebers to have joint cover ;)) and managed to get monthly payments reduced from £19 a month to £11!! :)

    Back into being MSE:

    * I walked to and from the local shops, saving petrol
    * made some ebay bids via TCB so if I do win (and go via TCB to pay) I will get some pennies back
    * resisted going on a big shopping trip to town

    Definitely a baby steps day.
Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.
