  • Arranged with work to send all my Xmas cards (at least those not hand-deliverable) via their Post desk. I paid the total cost into Petty Cash. Franking machine charges are lower than buying stamps :D

    Today I have

    - Redeemed a £20 Amazon voucher from Myvoice surveys
    - Received a £5 Amazon voucher from Swagbucks
    - Withdrew £8.24 from Paypal from some daily clicks cashback
    - Sold some surplus Euros from trip to Germany last week to someone at work and put the £'s into savings
    - Tea from freezer
    - Prepared packed lunch for tomorrow
    - Sent off an old, broken mobile to Fonebank, the highest payer, for £21 cashback

    Over the weekend I -

    - Chopped up a load of wood for my mum & dad's log fire; love free heat
    - Got some cakes off my mum to bring home with me :)

    • £40.00 0nep0ll payment received & sent to MFW pot
    • £10 M&S voucher from VO spent on half-price chocs for Christmas pressie so decided to send the original price of £20 to MFW pot
    • Union subs not payable this month so sent to MFW pot
    • £8 Co-op dividends received & will send equivalent to MFW pot (thanks for reminding me about this katsu :D)

    * walked to Mr A instead of driving to a supermarket
    * got lots of yellow sticky veg etc and some packs of couscous for stashing at work as cheaper lunches
    * scanned in shopping on my return
    * redeemed an amazon voucher from toluna and used it to order a second hand book, rather than getting new
    * did some online comps

    * spent ages looking for an amazon sale - fees were more than the book so I am only getting the postage credit :( Luckily I had some spare LL stamps!
    * used a first class stamp to post application to FD to try and get my MSE referral done in time

    £5.00 Cheque redeemed for on-line survey
    Loads of broken up pallets for the open fire.

  • Well, I bought a gadget today, and shopped around, found it cheap on ebay, rang the company i was going to buy it from, and then managed to get them to price match - thus £20 saved in 10 minutes. Bravo.
    Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
    September 2016 - Back into clearing a mortgage - Was due to be paid off in 32 years in March 2047 -
    April 2018 down to 28.00 months vs 30.04 months at normal payment.
    Predicted mortgage clearing 03/2047 - now looking at 02/2045

    Aims: 1) To pay off mortgage within 20 years - 2037
