Not a lot from me today:
    • £1.15 from Onepoll - that's pretty good for them lately
    • After moaning yesterday about being screened out of all the Toluna surveys I managed to complete one today :rotfl:
    • Got my lunch paid for by a supplier :D
    • Found out from DH that he is getting yet another bonus on payday tomorrow - I like this new job of his! I think this will be the last of the bonuses until this time next year though...
    • On a more negative point, went to Tesco and spent loadsa money, mainly on booze as we're entertaining that the weekend. The :money:side to that is that my parents are still away, so we're doing there for the weekend to eat more of their food :D
  • Today i have
    • Used £15 boots vouchers from child trust fund to buy 2 tins of formula so i have made a £15 o/p to mortgage
    • Brought DD to tescos to buy her birthday cake and she decided she wanted to make one with me like last year...this has saved about £8.00 as i got the cake mix for £1 something and the cake she had been looking at was a tenner . Only problem is she wants to make a "super mario cake" like the one in tescos..........that could be a problem :D
    • Used extra points vouchers with shopping so have racked up an extra 125 points
    • Filled the car with diesel....cant believe it cost over £70 ...on the plus side i used the 5p off a litre voucher with Mr T and got clubcard points
    Think thats it for today
Credit card £4461.15Home mortgage £137117Buy to let mortgage £83,000

LP - IMO It's not worth bothering with any more. It's addictive but frustrating as it takes ages to get any money. I've had about £40 from it all in all after getting initial deposit back but it's so slow getting money. It's a daily fishing game on Jackp8tjy where you can cast your rod and win free spins on the slots. I gave it up last month after withdrawing £20 but gone back to it this week and haven't won any spins yet. To say it does my head in is an understatement. If you do try it , try & go through a cash back site as I got money back after depositing when I signed up.
I can't be bothered updating this anymore
  • I love this thread - I spent ages reading it yesterday and people are doing brilliantly!

My mortgage hasn't gone very well this month in respect of OP's (I haven't been able to make any). On the plus side, I have managed to stick to my new budget, have got myself into permanent work (it is a drop in pay, but it's guarenteed) and have put some money aside for my rainy day fund as I had nothing at all to fall back on if anything happened.

I have picked up some extra shifts, so hopefully will be able to get back on track next month.

good luck with the super mario cake!! :rotfl: Im sure you will come up with something creative and DD will enjoy the experience of spending time with you making it as much as the finished product!

payday today (yay!) and bathroom fund looking healthy - need to finalise quote for it next week but should be ok (wont need to pay for it till 2 more paydays! )

plans for a MF day are...
pub meal out with friends tonight but cheap pub (meals around a fiver can be done!) and driving so should be a cheap meal!
cinema and dinner out with mrtyo tomorrow using vouchers...
family round on sunday for roast which we already have in and should feed us for a couple of days sandwiches too! probably go for a walk too if weathers nice- so free!
should have a £5 m and s voucher coming so am holding off buying some bits from there until I get it
the pizza I may have un-MSE-ingly ordered the other night did feed both of us for 3 meals between us, topped up with some 40p smarprice salad (which is just as nice IMO as anything else!) so dont feel as guilty! :rotfl:
am liking this daily thread- great to keep motivated and stops me rambling on and on into the ether in my diary! ;)

Done a job application and some dooyoo reviews. Am quite liking dooyoo as am finding lots of things to review.

Also made lunch from lingering leftovers - had a slightly stale slice of bread softened in my soup :D
