* Watched iplayer on Laptop last night (charged at work)
* Free Lunch at work today
* Invited myself to mum's for dinner
* Charging phone at work
* Gave my new loo roll a squeeze so the inner is an oval shape (a la C4 Super Scrimpers tip - that way it doesn't dispense too much paper easily)
That's it for today0 -
I've taken to doing the loo roll one again.
I've been being good, and still feeding us all leftovers from the BBQ the other day.
I've also been out in the garden and potted the better seedlings of lettuce and purple sprouting brocolli into their own pots for the window sill, and started some peppers.
I've also been doing surveys and reviews, but looks like i am going to have to complain to ip505 about a 250 point one that is not showing up on my points.0 -
I wish I had done the loo roll one as son3 dropped one half full down the toilet today after knocking it from its holder! It would have never happened with a bent one!
Good news :
* Just saved a fortune by not going to the trafford centre as planned as we're too tired.
Bad news:
Trafford centre now planned for tomorrowfor trainers and jeans
I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
today I have
- Done OP - £0.40
- Cashed in the money from the car boot and MM cheques
yesterday day I had a small coke instead of a pint after football so £0.80 instead of £1... something
Decided since the OH any myself are doing so well we are to have a wine night each week and I might get her some NEXT vouchers as she really hasn't been spending anything for herself for a while.
Mortgage free - 01/05/2019, mortgage high £200k 20110 -

I must admit I hate the Trafford Centre - I think it's hell on earth (I always get stuck in ridiculous traffic and then get sore feet pounding the marbled floors). I try my best to avoid it. Love the food-court though0 -

What a good idea!! I will be stealing that one if you don't mind - my lot are like the Andrex puppy when it comes to toilet roll0 -
Evening all, mmm what have I done today?
* Been to work with a packed lunch,
* Defrosted some soup made with stock from chicken carcass a few weeks ago for tea
* Done daily clicks and onepolls plus a 70p New Vista on TCB
* Transferred £65 into savings account and hopefully another £50 from TCB to come this week
* Dad transferred the £40 for my parents annual travel insurance back to me that i'd paid last week (parents don't trust online banking lol)
* Got one of the big 2l milks for £1 from Farmfoods and decanted it into 3, freezing two of them. Going camping at the weekend so slowly defrosting milk all day will help keep the other food im taking chilled. Praying it's gonna be nice weather, I LOVE camping!
* Am draining down the stuff in the freezer so not going shopping all week
Think that's it..#39 - Save £12k in 20250 -
