I had some good tesco DTD vouchers while it lasted :( Shame its been pulled now though!
I have tried to post a new (old) review on to ciao but i find their way of finding items very hard to use and I can't find anything on there which I've already reviewed
I've been screened out of onepoll
The other day I got some lovely work clothes from a carboot sale!! Very happy bunny with those and MSE because I will need a smarter word wardrobe over the next few months :D

Oh and I got my car ins but couldnt get any cashback :( It was expensive but buying it all in one go saved over £100 vs paying monthly!

My first "small thing" to add to this thread!

Yesterday the draught excluder that I ordered from eBay arrived, and today I have fitted it to the door from the garage into the house, which used to have a howling gale coming in under it, but not any more. Good news for the gas bill. :)
    Starting again 13/4/19
    Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99

*Cooked a whole chicken (3 for £10 ) for sandwiches instead of buying those expensive flavoured 300g packs
*Wrote to tax office to ask them to look at previous 6 years to see if I've overpaid
    *Completed a New vista survey
*Completed a Tolunnnna survey that landed in my inbox
*Phoned tax credits as they didn't pay me today - turns out someone in-putted the wrong info. Good news is I now get an extra £30 pw.
*Pegged my washing out on this fabulous windy day
I can't be bothered updating this anymore

Didn't post yesterday so over the last couple of days I have been -

    - clicking/surveying

    - took packed lunch to work and ate tea from food in the house

    - £3 from p!necone, £4.74 from Speedcashback and £9.02 from Fat Cheese paid into bank/paypal

    - Monthly pay has gone up about £13 with the increase in tax allowance :)

    - Saved my parents almost £100 on annual travel insurance. Saga wanted £137 off them  so i shopped around on this site and got them cover for £40.25 instead :p

    - Getting £5 credit for introducing my mum to Giffgaff (mobile phone network) so now we can call and text each other for free :T

    - On the same note, my mum has now introduced my dad so they can both chat or text for free aswell and she gets another £5 credit :D

    - Renewed car breakdown cover and went with AutoNational, for £57, with 17% cashback on TCB :)

    - Patiently waiting for the start of next month so I can move money around, get the Halifax £5 reward etc and more importantly, OP ;)

Today , I sewed up some trousers that were a bit long for me that I got in the car boot sale for £2. Also my daughter has grown taller and discovered her trousers were too short on the leg. So we made them into shorts:rotfl:.

Items ended on ebay today and sold .

    Did a survey.

Hubby checked our accouts and said we can make a lump sum payment of £2000 on tuesday :j.
Shows how all the pennys add up.
    Kindness costs nothing :)

Trying to be good after spending all this morning watching the wedding, and then all of the afternoon out shopping.
    • Dinner was leftover spag bol, which i made into chilli. I also stirred leftover cous cous into the rice so it got eaten rather than being thrown out.
    • Wrote a new review for DY
    • posted an old review onto ciao - thanks tinkerbel as you mentioned the April promo of 20p per review, which spurred me on to post over there, and i am up to £2.75. It is continuing in May at 15p per review, so i will keep on pasting my old stuff over there. I find Ciao hard to work through too, as i just don't get it. Not that i am thick, it just seems so random how they pay you. I don't find it clear.
    • played bingo - won a one line and a 2 line.
    • GTM survey for 35 panel points
    • cleared my inbox of survey network invites but qualified for none.
    • We did spend £90 at B and Q for stuff to continue making the garden better, but used a 15% off voucher, and also i see it as money saving in the long run as the nicer the garden is the more time we spend at home not out spending elsewhere.
    • Need to go to Mr T tomorrow, so will remember to hand in extra points vouchers and use £6 off £40 spend voucher.

Today , making loads of ham sandwiches to put in freezer
    for packed lunches through May.
    Making more bread.
Packing up loads of ebay stuff.
Going to watch that make do and mend programme on channel 4 online catch up.
Finished painting and varnishing a coffee table that we got from the scrap yard for £2.
Going to make more crafts to sell.

    Car boot sale tomorrow ;).
    Kindness costs nothing :)

thanks for the ciao tip! I just need to write reviews which fit into both DY and ciao I guess!! I'll mainly focus on DY for now though. Ciao payments seem pretty random but I've had £10 or £15 this year which isn't bad for just copying and pasting I guess!!
Not got a lot planned for today! just enjoying some much needed time off!
Yesterday was a NSD and I've tried to apply for a new bank account which might give cashback :D

  • Last night I went to a friends house to meet up with the girls for a girlie night so was always going to be a cheap night. BUT my friend (and her lavish clothes buying sister) had had a mammouth clothes sort-out and I came away with 4 skirts, 3 tops and a cardigan!! :D

That's me sorted if the summer comes to the north east this year!
